I used to wonder why Eggman kept bothering with Metal Sonic since Metal never wins... Learning that Eggman actually CARES about Metal in his own Eggman way certainly explains a lot.

Even in the original game it was mentioned that Sonic knew Robotnik before he was evil, hell he even designed the shoes Sonic wears as a gift (ofc back then it was never explained how or why he turned bad) so deep down Eggman wanted Sonic back. Hell, If Sonic stayed, Eggman would likely have entrusted him with an entire army and he'd probably have already conquered the world.

I really do feel sorry for knuckles considering the fact that he’s the only person on that island guarding it like seriously I wouldn’t mind the other echidna girl being alive just to help out but damn, it’s always something with him. Not to mention when his friends are in trouble, he always has to put in the effort to go down and leave the emerald unguarded not to mention getting back up to Angel Island can be a little hassle sometimes.

SAME HERE- I WAS LITERALLY AT THAT PART WHEN I WAS SCROLLING AND SURPRISED SOMEONE ACTUALLY MENTIONED THIS!! (Thanks for the time stamp btw! :D) Gosh I freaking LOVE brotherly love, and Sonic and Tails are definitely no exception! I love how the first thing he does is frantically telling Silver to put him down and yelling and running for his best friend-! It warms my heart when characters show care and love for each other 🥺💖 It shows, like you said, how close they are, they're truly like brothers! ;w; Not to mention the VOICE ACTING IN THAT LINE MAKES IT SO MUCH BETTER IT'S SUCH A SHORT MOMENT BUT HE PUTS SO MUCH EMOTION! 😆 He sounds genuinely concerned, especially the 2nd time he yelled 'Tails?!' And then the genuine happiness Sonic has in his face AND voice seeing Tails is okay, and him praising him on top of that-- I literally can't help but smile and have a big goofy grin on my face at that part every time- 💙💛 I just love everything about this, and moments like these just make me all the more excited to see them voice act the rest of the Zombot saga, which is full of super emotional moments! Personally, Dr. Starline's voice/mannerisms reminds me of The Master from Doctor Who.... Well reminds me of the Time Lord's less-chaotic side of his persona at least.

im hoping they dont do all 16 issues in one video, that would take a year at least to get done with all the acting and editing they'd have to do (especially with how heavy this arc gets, emotional scenes can be SO difficult to do), but maybe two videos with eight issues or four videos with four issues would be absolutely awesome

I can't help but imagine a scenario where, instead of just leaving him there in peace... they had told Mr. Tinker the truth. The full truth of his real identity, and the things he's done. And allow Mr. Tinker to come to his own conclusions about it all. I figure one of two things would happen: either his memories return and Eggman is back, but in circumstances controlled by Sonic & Crew, and in this case Tinker was never going to last, and Starline accelerated his return _at best._ Alternatively? Mr. Tinker becomes disgusted and _horrified_ by the truth of the things he's done, and is able to form his own thoughts and feelings that aren't born of his old personality and tendencies just bleeding through... strong enough that, when his memories DO return, the Mr. Tinker persona isn't swept away, but is able to stand firm, and choose _not_ to return to being Eggman, despite his memories returning. Because he still has those feelings of disgust and horror toward his old ways. His memories returning wouldn't erase that sense of revulsion. It wouldn't be guaranteed to work, but damn if it wouldn't be a battle worth fighting.
