It's exactly 2 WEEKS till Issue 50 releases in stores, SO I thought it would be an amazing idea to upload all 4 parts of Imposter Syndrome as a FULL MOVIE!
I can't believe I've made it this far in the Sonic comic dubs, i enjoy every moment of it and I have a great team to help back this possible!

22:02: it took Starline 232 hypnosis sessions to convince Surge she hated sonic. And it took 33 sessions to convince Kit to suport Surge. Thats a stark difference.

Something I've noticed about a lot of people reading, writing or even talking about these two, Surge and Kit, is that they kind of focus on Kit's more docile, reserved and insecure side and seem to forget that he's just as capable as Surge to cause damage... Heck, some times the kid is just as psychotic as her. Yeah, he acts all soft and meek around her and seems to completely shut down when she's not around, but whenever he's with her and it's time to wreck some havoc, he shows his dark tendencies and how creative he is in order to do so... And Surge they just show them as rude and while she is so, she also has a more serious side from time to time.

There's much speculation as to whether surge and kit are kidnapped and brainwashed, or bioengineered from scratch. My opinion is that they were kidnapped and brainwashed. The biggest reason I think this is knowing how starline logs his everything, if he did bioengineer them I'm sure he'd have vlogged about it in his computer, instead we see him vlog about how he created their personalities with the use of belle and tails DNA, as well as the enhancements, while not mentioning who they were because he deems it unimportant, ofc if anyone thinks differently I'd love to know why

Personally, I just assumed that they were bioengineered from that sonic and tails DNA bit, and the 2 test tubes seen at the start. But I didn’t do any research on this subject, though. Nvm, I watched all of it and realize you were right about the kidnapping and brainwashing side of things.

id say that they are cyborgs. In a way similar to the classic robotnik move we loved to call back in the day as, "roboticizing" (hope i spelled that right). I believe this would explain why they dont die from basic stuff like spikes, buzz saws, and concussions.

I cannot express how much I love this dub. I love Surge and Kit's VAs for this. If SEGA ever uses those two for games or shows, I'd want THIS to be their canonical voices, or inspiration.

They somehow took Metal Sonic, a silent killing machine, and gave him an actual personality. We don't see this in these issues, but we do see Starline complain about Metal, and the fact that he doesn't always follow Eggman's orders. Then again, they have some of the best written characters in the Sonic series, so is that really surprising?

Something I'm wondering, is if Sonic were to die, and Surge were to replace him, like she says she will, would Eggman keep Metal Sonic? Most likely he would keep him. Eggman actually cares about Metal, unlike his other bots. Though, would he remodel and Upgrade him to me Metal Surge?

I've always wondered what would Starline's take on Knuckles would be? Some other random orphan with pseudo-chaos energy manipulation or an Upgraded Artifical Chaos? (I assume those things still litter the Ark) Like sure Knux doesn't exactly hang out with sonic as most of us think he does but I genuinely wanna know his opinions on this would he be glad? Offended? Indifferent?

Surge has sonics speed but not his creativity, Kit has the multitails and flight but not his mechanic know-How. Feels like starline only took the surface level info which is saying something considering the work he put into Surge and Kit

(Possible Spoilers) Quick question, was Surge and Kit not informed that Sonic's weakness is water? If they were, and if Surge was thinking straight she should've had Kit distract Sonic til she takes care of Tails, then team up on Sonic like they did with Metal Sonic.

Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe they were informed at one point but something happened where Starline felt the need to wipe their memories hence why this was possibly never brought up between them in the comics. But hard to say if we'll ever know.

Sonic's weakness surrounding water isn't that he's got a phobia of it, as IIRC that got retconned all the way back when Sonic X ended, his weakness is that he cannot swim. He can hold his breath underwater just fine, and run laps on top of it. Kit would need to create a huge body of water to exploit Sonic's inability to swim, and at that point you could argue it's just easier to do to him what he did to Metal Sonic (restraining him and synergizing with Surge's electricity).

The creepy part that I realized is that the sessions were conducted when surge and kit were children now I have a theory that not only did starline not keep a record of who they were but also there isn’t a record of them at all. That they were too young to even be legal citizens. Meaning he snatched them from their families at birth.

This is the story what happened to camp with Amy, Tangle, Jewel, and Belle. Next, the Central City got traffic jam with Vector, Espio, and Charmy. Finally, Dr. Starline mind control the robot Motor Bud and Belle too in 50 with Sonic, Tails save Belle. Belle need to find Mr. Tinker. Next up 51.
