As with all things, something in moderation can be a good touch. Edgy isn't inherently bad, but too much becomes grating as with all things. I think, honestly, the sonic series lends itself surprisingly well to darker, "edgier", stories, and keeping that balanced with semi-light hearted and wholesome moments and side stories is what honestly made this series of issues so enthralling in the long run.

People throw the term "edgy" around too much.

Something is “edgy” when it tries to hard to be cool by being dark or mature or profane etc, take the Shadow the Hedgehog game for example. The Zombot Arc isn’t edgy as it is genuinely trying to tell an emotional and dramatic story rather than just be seen as cool. It’s dark, at least for Sonic standards, but not edgy.

Charmy never gets a break. First, he lost his home kingdom in the Archie comics, now this...

That's thing thing about an apocalypse, you can only do so many right things before you can do what's necessary.

I feel like Charmy got alot of heat from fans, but forget hes literally a 6 year old kid. Hes barely old enough to be in elementary school. Being tougher than most people his age it makes perfect sense he would go in headstrong about this.

Considering he is only six years old, I can see why he went back into the city. Most children would react the very same way as Charmy did and want to help out as many people as possible. Unfortunately, he couldn’t comprehend in time that there was no way to save those already infected without risking his safety and he paid a horrible price for his kindness by becoming one of the first major characters to be turned into a zombot. Cream was just a rare exception to this mindset, being able to comprehend in time when zombots invaded her village to escape and avoid infection until the near end of the arc. What happened with Charmy probably could have easily occurred with almost any other child. 😖

Vector is actually really intelligent

Vector is actually most intelligent of Team Choatix even he loves money. Espio is more like the enforcer in the team. Charmy is just an innocent playful but help everyone in time of need

I think we just saw in this issue that Vector is smart. He is also able to make hard decisions, which are both good leadership qualities

Plus, if he hadn't stopped, Charmy would have killed Eggman in Sonic Heroes with how much stinging he did.

They basically took out everyone by the end. Everyone was infected to some degree. The only characters who weren't were: Silver Espio Rouge Whisper Dr. Starline The Babylon Rogues (They use the words "Rogue" and "Rouge" in the same universe) And then the robots (Omega and Gemerl) But Omega got torn up.

Some people on the team noticed this, and I also noticed it in a few other videos on RU-vid. Not sure what's up since it didn't seem to appear at first
