Same. I'm at working looking for Long videos and I was like let's watch timeline lore videos. I was scrolling through RU-vid and I saw a video for Sonic Unleashed speedrun and from there I just looked up sonic comics that I could listen too. Another video not to start with Archie's so I did IDW. Enjoying it so far.

(2 years, Ik.) It would probably end in a stalemate, however, if we're to look at a moral/logic compromise, then Shadow would succeed. Killing Eggman to save more lives. In any case, it would be best to just think about the lives they would save by sacrificing one. Sonic is looking at it by a hugely understandable, but dangerous standpoint, Shadow is looking at this calmly and methodically. At least, that's what I would like to believe if Sega wasn't all "edgelord" shit with him.

Not exactly… notice that Shadow didn’t just straight merc Mr. Tinker like he originally planned on doing, only demanding to know what Eggman Land was. Shadow at his most ruthless wouldn’t have cared after he takes off again… I honestly think Shadow was just acting off his Vegeta like ego, there’s no way Shadow would ever fully admit to his closest rival being right in any respect, but they WOULD at least verify if the point is valid.

Yeah, he did. Where was Shadow when that happened? Actually, I didn't see ANYONE besides Tails helping him out. And he had no problems letting the Black Arms take over the planet too. And yeah, he earned his forgiveness, because his memory loss made him a better person, which is THE EXACT SAME SITUATION SHADOW WAS AFTER ADVENTURE 2. Eggman has already done plenty of good, and is clearly not the same person he was before, and has given Sonic no reason to think he is even remotely the same guy. It's incredibly hypocritical of Shadow's part to not want to give Eggman a chance even when he's in the exact same situation he was, even though he was given the same chance to redeem himself, even after trying to kill Sonic multiple times, and trying to obliterate the entire planet. Just because Eggman did worse things doesn't make him different from Shadow. Shadow could've became just as bad as Eggman given enough time, just look at his game's bad ending. And everyone thought he relapsed once Forces started releasing trailers every five seconds, so yeah, Eggman is not the only one who's under risk of suddenly turning into an asshole again.

@@infamousplayer8772 Actually that's a good point. Shadow may not cause trouble, but he does actually help a lot less then Eggman himself. That said, no precautions are taken. Nobody is left to watch Eggman as Mr.Tinker. The metal virus saga could've been avoided all together if Shadow at least kept a close eye on him.
