@@NoNamex1412 I like using the Wiimote and Numchuck for the Night Stages cuz the night stages use LR for attacks, and jeez On a GameCube controller the Analogue LR is cool but playing any game past that with a GameCube controller the LR starts to hurt your phalanges
@@rescuerex7031 I only made it past windmill isle Wii trying to emulate it on my totally not powerful tablet. It ran at 5fps lol. I used GameCube settings
Lol I remember watching PS3/Xbox360 vids of Sonic Unleashed and then I got the Ps2 version (Because I didn't have the other consoles). And then I played it and I remember how disappointed I was lol.
This is the first video that I saw of Sonic Unleashed on the Wii (I didn't know it was on thw Wii for years after it came out). My immediate reaction to seeing the stage( I was only used to the Xbox 360 version) was *WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT IS THIS GRAPHICCCCCC, WHAAAAAAAAAAA?!?!?!?!?!?!!!?!*
when i was young, never played this version of unleashed because i didn't know how to run as werehog, so i constantly failed the tutorial. since i never played the wii version and those memories never left my head, how do you run with werehog on wii? i used the wiimote + nunchuck
LOL you're not the only one! The funny thing is that whenever I got to that tutorial part where I had to run with the werehog, I didn't even know what to do, I was just randomly pushing the stick in different directions many many times till the werehog started running, then I jumped and reached the goal, after I completed the game I restarted playing it a lot again and again, but I still didn't know how to run properly🤦♂️😂 so I always got that tutorial part randomly, even though I also failed many times and (sometimes) it did take me a lot to complete it lmfao
omg bro i was also having the same problem back then XD .... the little pink guy told to "repeatedly" push the joystick on the nunchuck I was confused cus i didn't know what that means. tho i was so detirmend that i just tried everything since i want to play so badly and finally found out that its just flicking the move button twice XD tho sadly i got stuck in the final stage (eggman land - day) and never finished the game T-T maybe i will get back to try it again one day :D
The voice actor, Jason Griffith had Strep Throat at the time and he was voicing lines for 2 characters (technically 4 if you wanna count Sonic's werehog form and Shadow who was scrapped during production)
@@rundown3984 You must have not played or unlocked them all then, because while some are just random Secret Rings-esque "challenges" in the main stages, others are entirely new original levels. There's one in Spagonia that's in an underground sewer system, it's unfortunately tied to the "Collect x rings" mission which has a ring threshold that's too low to fully experience the stage unless you avoid rings imo (should have had the threshold doubled or made it a Time Attack mission), but the level itself is cool, and there's also a Time Attack mission that's mostly the same level as the main act, but the ending section where you chase that flying laser bot on a long straightaway is completely gone and replaced with an entirely new 2D section that's a completely different level with branching paths, just tacked on after the last checkpoint of the normal level. There's a couple new levels in Dragon Road, one is tied to a "don't get hit" mission, and the other is a full on normal level with both 3D and 2D sections that has both a Time Attack mission (allowing you to play the full level normally) and a Collect Rings mission I believe that's set in the first section of it. Shamar has an entire second act level too with a "sandmobile" section, at first there's only a couple Collect Rings missions set in two separated sections of this stage, but eventually you can unlock a Time Attack mission that allows you to play the whole entire level start to finish as a normal Act 2 of sorts. And Adabat is similar as well, there's a stage that I believe is also a "collect rings" stage but it's a new level set in an underground cavern, and there's another mission that's a Time Attack that's also on a completely new stage, albeit a bit of a short one (though I'm not sure it's really the full level). And then there's another one in Adabat that I haven't unlocked or seen yet because it's the final stage in the game, only unlockable if you've collected EVERY secret collectable in the gallery, I don't know if that's another new level, an extension of the one I just mentioned, or something set in the first normal act, but that's also there. So yeah, the missions do contain new levels buried within them, but they're not the first ones you see and some of them don't get unlocked until very late into the game, mostly found within Gaia Gate rooms that have higher medal requirements (some of them I couldn't unlock until I played through Eggmanland for example). So give some of the missions a try if you want, because some of them do house these surprises (especially look out for levels that have stuff like two or more of the same mission type, because sometimes one of those missions is a new stage, or both in Shamar's case with the ring missions). And ones using a Time Attack mission are especially good because they play exactly like normal acts minus the ranking system, no other gimmicks attached.
You can't handle level design that makes you think and react? If you like games that are just go forward, then play Forces. It's definitely up your alley. (I do not think Forces is bad. I just think it's average.)
Yan93 true! But Its Harder To control for me. I mean For Werehog its Easy but Being Sonic during Daytime Stages, He has a Unbalanced Ai. I find My self falling off and Constantly crashing into Things because of that.
Gao The Hedgehog It can be easy to fall off in the Act 2 stages, but then the Act 1 stages are more about the boost while the Act 2 stages are more obstacle - you have to be careful when you use the boost in Act 2
Gao The Hedgehog No worries :) The Act 2 stages aren’t ones you have to do in order to complete the game, but you need to do them to collect the sun and moon medals - I also like to try and S rank them if I can ^_^
The daytime stages take practice and timing on your first playthroughs if you can find every shortcut in the level and avoid all the traps you encounter it will be a breeze.
It doesn't, it's just a different game with different gameplay and levels. The graphics are worse and the tutorials are annoying, yeah, but other than that it's just a different game and has many things going for it over the 360 game just like vice versa.
I feel *SO* lucky that I got Unleashed on xbox 360, I would not even think of playing a game with these graphics, because come, wii, that quality is just crap, you didn't even try.
