also over a decade to get an open world Sonic. game on a similar level as Unleashed, that being Sonic Frontiers. Sonic Generations and 06 don’t count.
This will forever be my favourite Sonic game with Adventure 2 behind it. I actually really like the Werehog segments and found them to be a nice change of pace. Could do without the constant battle music though.
Yeah I haven’t played this in a very long time, but i’ve found myself getting back into Sonic so i’m planning on getting this for my birthday. The battle music in the Werehog stages is rather repetitive hearing the same track over and over, but I get used to it.
@@KirikkSiSq I’m aware. I’m only saying that I would’ve been immensely grateful if I was able to play the game with this kind of performance when I was younger
@@Moxi_TF oh, now I got it. Well, it seems I also can't experience it in full quality yet, because my TV isn't very bright, plus I have One S, not Series S, so no FPS boost But afaik, even on Series X this game plays in 720p (Though when I switched Xbox' resolution to 720p, it became way worse than 1080p somewhy)
10:43:19 Was so badass. Even without his super speed, Sonic pulled off a stunt i’m sure most Sonic characters can’t do, or any living person in our world
Still don't get the hate critics and others have on this game. Sonic Unleashed was such a masterpiece that it was definitely needed after the failure of a game that was Sonic 06
Sonic Unleashed has everything that makes a good Sonic game, its mechanics, the battles, its soundtrack, the bosses, the story It is very sad that they did not value it at the time when it came out
this is my FAVOURITE sonic game! so much nostalgia! although i played the wii version. i wish this game got a remaster. favourite sonic games: unleashed, riders zero gravity, black knight, colours, (the original and the ds version) generations, and frontiers.
The first game I want on PS5 has to be this masterpiece. Sonic Team really needs to make a remaster of Sonic Unleashed cause having it only on XBox and PS3 is almost a waste of great Sonic gaming. That remaster also needs to fix the upgrades cause that is the most annoying thing in the game, but great game overall
@@luizgamerroyal I’d imagine. I never played the game and some reviews say that playing it is very difficult, especially since Sonic is very slippery in terms of movement
I was knee high to a grasshopper when I played this game in 2008. I played the ps2 version which didn’t have the best graphics or the Mazuri stages. Still loved it though because guess what? No input lag! Let’s go ps2 and Wii version ftw. Played ps3 version years later but too much lag. I will buy an Xbox series x just to play this game with no input latency.
This will always be my favorite Sonic game. Still waiting for it to get remastered so that I can play it on my PS5 and not have to buy one of the Xbox Series consoles just to play it.
Well hopefully and lets what happens afterwards. Like we got sonic colors and now sonic and shadow generation, so let’s see if unleashed will get on as well.
I played this on my Xbox 360 around the same time. Except I lost the Disc, I either traded it in at GameStop or just lost it entirely. Got it again a few days ago though and I don’t understand why i’d get rid of it. Probably cause I was so young, I was too stupid to know where to find some medals
man do I love this game, I never played it before bc my xbox is like offline or smth and I’m trying to fix it , but when I do get to play this game I will be so happy also do u know if this is available on xbox one?
Too bad the game is on older hardware, and cant even play on modern consoles like the switch of the PS5/4 like just remaster this game, which is what everyone has basically been asking for a long time.
@@luizgamerroyal Yeah, maybe cause IGN gave it bad review cause they suck at playing games and made SEGA think the game should not be ported because of the Werehog or how they thought sonic did not control that well. Because that is what I think, and the game controls smooth and The graphics are incredible till this day.
Not even lying, I thought that battle music would drive me insane, now it’s just engrained in my mind everytime i’m trying to focus on Math homework, lol I don’t even need my phone to play music, my head is now like an MP3 player with only this crap playing, and somehow helps me focus.
@@tarheelpro87That happened to me with the Mystic Ruins music from Adventure 1. I just end with that music in my head (after a long it's very annoying).
One last thing, I don’t usually like making two comments on one video, but I had Sonic Unleashed a long time ago on the Xbox 360, just a few days ago I finally bought it digitally and started playing through it again, I’m trying to get in the Adabat Temple as of now. But so far as i’ve been playing, I have an unpopular opinion and actually, I like the Werehog levels better than the Hedgehog levels. I can barely keep up with how fast Sonic is let alone react to stuff in time, although I still have fun on *most* of them (i’m looking at you Chun-Nan Day). But on the Werehog levels I consistently make A and S Ranks over and over, it’s really rare that I get a B rank. Even the levels I thought I did bad on I still get an A. Plus levelling up combat and using new skills all the time is really satisfying taking out crowds of enemies. Glad I bought this game back, now I just have to suffer through getting 120 Sun Medals to get in the Adabat Temple. 😫
@@luizgamerroyal actually I found out my mistake now. Collecting the Sun Medals wasn’t as hard as I thought once I started and became kinda fun. But then I realized that it was because the boss in Shamar Night (I forgot it now) I had to do first. Honestly I didn’t even know cause I couldn’t find it for a while so I was going crazy looking for what I was missing. I was like “I have 120 Sun Medals, I can’t get a higher level than this, why can’t I do this stupid temple?!” then I realized I was stupid 😂 I beat the game last Sunday and uploaded my gameplay of most of it. I didn’t record Eggmanland cause I can’t make a lot of recordings that long unless they were ultra low quality, and even that’s not possible. Eggmanland was less frustrating than I thought it would be though being honest, I only was frustrated on a part where I thought I had to beat these endless waves of robots but turns out, I just had to break a wall down and pull a lever. Had I not messed up there I possibly could’ve gotten an A rank maybe even an S.
11:01:36 ooooooh the battle music theme....11:11:36 This final song is so good it gives me goosebumps aaaaah it's so good and gives a good feeling for some reason
I beat this game a while ago, but I've been playing it for a while, it's in a part of my heart, it brings me happy feelings every time I remember the time I've been playing, I beat it on my xbox 360
Hi, what file size was this video when you uploaded it? Was wondering what your settings were when you recorded/encoded the file because uploading really long videos can really make the visual quality compressed on RU-vid.
Actually bro to be honest I may forgot because at that time , I had a different computer and one had a weird set back then . Now the obs set up is different. For me I recorded 1440p 60 fps. So the bitrate was like 45000. Quality was high . And yeah I was able to record and put the pieces in together.
Sonic Unleash is one of my favourite sonic games. This was my first sonic game I've ever played. Also how did you manage to downloaded that game into your xbox series x?
@LuizGamerRoyale you did very well but you have to be a Total Game Pro just like @Cyberman65, he finished this game too with 100% No Damage, All states Max out, try to be him okay?
