1:04 I love the detail here. Similar to SONIC, he dies DIRECTLY intact with the spikes, since neither of them have rings, and even though Majin knows he's more powerful, he likes to play fair.
I love the fact when Majin jumps off the ledge at 1:03 he says "I'm outta here" referencing the same animation sonic does when you wait 3 minutes in sonic CD.
I love the fact that sonic just starts LITTERALLY laying the hands on Majin when he goes super. God this makes me want a playable Majin mod for mania, The portals just seem like such a cool gimmick.
@@dreamspeedrundununanun6932 what is thy purpose? Fun is infite should be his motto, though for hoom is questionable. Its seem in this version its just for himself sadly. Majin being a friendly spirit just wanting overall good fun is neat headcanon that people have for varity, as well we already have the simple villian in .exe, Lord X should be chaotic neutral for higher portrayed menace. So majin being Goofy Extremenly power character would have that infinite fun deal. In this fight it mainly focused on not putting any real headcanon aside from Majin being unusually powerful, which is kinda dissapointing as you could to have him do this for sonic's entertainment. As the Hedgehog enjoy tht thrill of the moment.
Pretty sure Majin is perfectly fine, just wanted a friendly match lmao. Dude looked like he was having quite a bit of fun despite losing the game this time around.
@@incognitoman8719 My assumption is that He is fully aware of Sonic's abilities through the game, so he most likely isn't trying to outmatch sonic completely or unfairly here. Sonic could beat him, all's fun and games.
This is so good, i love how Majin is just having fun and even accepts defeat after Sonic's put up a good match. I personally think this is what SEGA would portray him as the "fun is infinite" easter egg was never supposed to be scary in the first place
This honestly looks like a really fun boss battle. If SEGA ever decided to lean into some creepypasta stuff I can 100% see this being used as a secret boss.

Also, love the mix of Mania and Frontiers elements, this feels very reminiscent of old sprite animations from the late 2000’s of RU-vid. Granted, it’s much higher quality, but still. I love how smooth and faithful it is, well done MORO.
I'm surprised no one talked about the ending and how cool it is, it's like Sonic is using the concept of infinity AGAINST Majin It's like he realized "Oh? This is going to go on infinitely? Well then let's see if infinity can contain me!" and so he accelerate enough to start looping across the screen and Majin just can't keep up with Super Sonic at that point
I like how Majin’s gameplay works. It’s like if you kill him game wise, he has infinite lives so theres no way, and the only way to defeat him is to legitimately kill him

Edit: While I was right to an extent, I did not expect him to have those Teleportation Portal moves, As well that the Star Shimmer-like Projectiles as well, That was awesome stuff! And I'm guessing the reason Super Sonic was able to kill Majin was because he used near-infinite speed, Thus canceling out Majins "Infinite" power? I don't personally feel like that would kill Majin for good, But it was a really great finisher to the fight! o/
Majin doesn't have any confirmed powers, why is everyone saying Fanon Majin = Moro Majin? At least Moro's majin feels more official to what SEGA would do instead of this infinite overpowered stuff.
@@nekunucria I always assumed his "Fun is infinite" jazz meant he genuinely had infinite power, At least when it came to "Having fun" I literally said in my Comment though that I don't think Majin would use it too fight. The idea of him as a Fighter seems fundamentally wrong xD I don't think he would ever fight anyone for any reason. But IF Majin were to ever fight, This is definitely how I'd view him fighting now, This was brilliant stuff. Moro knocked it out of the park o/

It's good to see someone with common sense in this thread not saying Majin is "toying with Sonic" because nothing really implies that at all, if anything he was trying to kill him as seen with Sonic having to turn Super when the hands caught him! At your talk about him having infinite power, to me that was more just a message to the players that fun is infinite in sega not like, anything to do with power, just some harmless fun. I think people really say Majin is infinite or have infinite but honestly I see it as more of a quote then well, literal power I mean, we never see Majin ever SHOWCASE actual power so I don't see where all that jazz comes from. I think that's a misinterpretation of what he is supposed to mean.

I don't think Majin would've been a proper villain, but more like an optional boss made to give the players an extra challenge - a sorta Jevil in his own infinitely fun way.
Majin is more of a programmer than a regular boss. When he runs, he maybe writes a program with his left hand (change the environment or write yourself infite lives 0:57). Sonix.exe is a software bug. He cannot be defeated. Overcoming bugs in the game requires finding the programmer who wrote Sonic's world. This is freaking phenomenal! I'm really glad MORO had chosen Majin Sonic as the antagonist in this fa animation than Sonic.exe. The sheer madness and chaos that's happening in this animation makes it truly a fun experience.
I like this ALOT, and for a bunch of reasons to. 1. I like how sonic isn’t just like “OH NO MAJIN SONIC IM GONNA DIE!1!1!1” and actually knows what the heck is going on and takes it seriously 2. This would probably be a secret boss fight after completing CD or mania (cause it’s using mania design) 3. I also like how they didn’t use sonic 3 sonic or modern sonic because I feel like classic sonic definitely fits the battle And that’s why I enjoyed this! Nice job MORO, you impressed me again
What if you put in “cd” then you would get sonic cd remastered in mania style but if you do the combo to go to the code combination to go to see majin sonic it automatically teleports you to the majin fight
@@dogwater866 We never had any official information on Majin, he's just a funny easter egg. This version of Majin showcased in the animation is able to get killed by Sonic, because if SEGA did put him as a boss in Mania, he'd most likely be beatable and not as powerful as everyone thinks he is.
@@nekunucria sorry but maybe in this fight Majin is just having FUN? If you can see Majin was able to easily spawn walls, waterfalls and spikes. I’m sure he can do more and can easily kill sonic. Instead of doing multiple clones to fight and kill sonic they just dying to the spikes which HE MADE LOL.
Absolutely stunning, I've gotta know, Is is there absolutely ANY possibility you'd consider releasing the custom Majin Sonic sprites seen here? They're really well done.
And I think that Majin Sonic is very powerful, although it may not seem like it, he can basically control the reality of Sonic CD to his liking, create infinite clobes, create as many zones as he wants, and also if his goal is infinite diversity then his bossfight would be fun. infinite, meaning it cannot die, it can only disappear.
Morø's animations are surreal, his incredible talent always enchants me in each of his animations, even more in terms of appreciating, everything Morø does in the animations are impeccable
all Sonic attacks in the animation are attacks taken from the new official game "Sonic Frontiers" and there will be no Mania 2 because the team of developers who made Mania parted ...
Just saying, someone really needs to make a fan game using all the horror characters (EXE, Majin, Starved etc) but it plays like a classic sonic platformer. No dialogue, no jump scares, just the retro vibe. it would be pretty cool to see one day, or better yet if Sega finally embraced some of these characters and did it themselves (which I know they won't)
Boss concept for this: if you don’t have all the chaos emeralds, the hand transition will only be sonic spindashing out the hand, but if you do have all the chaos emeralds, you can have the super sonic hand transition. ( 1:23 )
Okay, but can we just appreciate how this combines aspects from a lotta different things in a lotta different sonic games? We have that waterfall section that reminds me heavily of Lava Reef act 2's boss from Sonic & Knuckles, but also reminds me of that one ant-lion boss from Sonic 2 Game Gear, the hands from the Phantom Egg fight in Mania, the "I'm outta here!" from CD, which also reminds me of the beginning section of Hydrocity act 2 and that one treadmill boss in Quartz Quadrant... Hell, there's probably a lot I'm missing, but the amount of effort put into this to combine a bunch of elements from several Sonic games is just _really_ good, y'know? Especially with how cool this fight looks. I'd honestly kill to have something like this in an official Sonic game.

I wonder what a movie with Majin Sonic as the final antagonist would be like, anyone is free to imagine and elaborate with me. First for the title, I think it would be cool if it was the eighth movie, with the number 8 laying down and making the infinity symbol and the word "Fun" appearing from the darkness. Let's see, could the theme of the movie be Sonic's falling away from responsibility, falling prey to Majin Sonic's promise of endless fun and at the end of the movie Sonic relearns responsibility? (Because being the eighth movie, Sonic has already been through a lot and matured a lot, to the point of returning to his home planet Mobius to live alone). In the first act of the film, I believe that we should have Majin Sonic's presentation and a great responsibility falling on Sonic's lap, making him think that his fun is ending and he will no longer have as much freedom as he used to. For the presentation of Majin S. I believe it would be cool to show him defeating and assimilating to his army what seems to be our Sonic from the movie franchise (But in reality it is just a Sonic from an alternate reality), yes Majin S. will be a threat from the Multiverse. Now for Sonic's big responsibility, it must be a big decision that is making him anxious. I have two alternatives, one is regarding Amy Rose, where she is really serious in front of Sonic and waits to hear the answer to her question (Depending on how old they are, the question may change); if they are teenagers, then it will be "Do you want to date me?", if they are teenagers/almost adults; "Do you want to live with me (same house)?", and if they are young adults "Do you want to have a child with me?". (I like this alternative because we can use Amy Rose later in a Plot Twist to defeat Majin S.) The other alternative is that Sonic left a hospital with bad news from the Doctor, after countless battles, his legs are at their limit, his knees and feet are no longer holding up to as much pressure, (I think we can add that his body is more weak after too much use of Chaos Emeralds), if he reaches his maximum speed once more, it is likely that he will never run again. Then the decision to stop being a hero to preserve his fun. Oh, nothing prevents we can't use both!

Yes, this goes to the idea that Majin Sonic is actually an entity that possesses the body of Sonics from the multiverse (Like a spirit/ghost, his real form being a cursed mask, right?), to ensure his survival and being insanely cautious he multiplies and captures an absurd amount of other Sonics (These Sonics who in turn are also at critical moments in their lives, where they are undecided to make an important decision and/or depressed... Being tired and unable to beat Majin who appears to have infinite energy, this is how Majin manipulates them into putting on the masks of their "own will"). Majin genuinely thinks he's doing good, putting these Sonics into illusions of infinite adventure where they never age or weaken. He doesn't realize the hypocrisy that by giving this kind of endless fun he is also keeping them prisoner.
If people make a Sonic Mania mod with bosses like these I would cry from sheer joy, having modern sonic combat in a 2-D sonic game would be so amazing to play

Its a really good animation, though I wouldn't call it a "boss battle" one. Not because of quality, but simply because after the "blue hands" part it basically stops feeling like a video game. GREAT animation all the same, it's a lot of fun to watch
I feel like if Majin / Mazin had a boss fight, it would be a “see how long you can last” type thing where you get 10 rings to start and the attacks would be completely random
Why does infinitum sound like the world revolving tho~?! Seriously though, this is very good. I love how Majin Sonic pulls off 2 lines from Sonic CD and shows us his power. Also, you can't stop infinity, so Majin is technically still alive, just recovering. See you all around, in any case.
i really like how the stage is set up, before i ever saw this video i always liked to think if he had his own stage, it would be like noclipping out of reality (kinda like the backrooms or just a portal) and being in a dark+slightly blue room !!
Actually I’m pretty sure there is no limit to how many Majin clones there are. The reason the fight ended there is most likely because: (SPOILERS AHEAD) Majin was DECAPITATED from his death. I think the only way to get out of Majin’s realm if this was a fangame, is to actually fully kill him. I’m guessing that all of Majin’s clones are his latest death, back and completely uninjured. If this is all true, then Majin’s clones and himself are gone. Sonic went nearly INFINITE speed, and if I remember then SEGA confirmed that he was holding back his power. If all of this is true, then it’s the reason why this battle even ended.
