Its nice getting to see the actual 06 robots again, as in base Gens, there were just Iblis monsters as it was Crisis City that we went to instead of Kingdom Valley.
I think Shadow can beat Metal Overlord without chaos emeralds since he is buffed with doom's Power and chaos energy. The same way metal overlord is buffed with Chaos/Shadow/Sonic DNA
Sonic could also beat Perfect Chaos in Generations without Super Sonic. So I don't think is unbelievable that Shadow could face metal overlord with some power ups.
Can’t wait to use the terios skin in this game. And the adventure and jam legacy skins for both sonics. And also the movie version of shadow. (I bought the digital deluxe edition. And there was no ps4 copy at the time. And yes I am still stuck on ps4.)
This game might exemplify my frustrations with what they're doing to the franchise since the movies came out. On one hand, finally other characters get recognition and gameplay moveset that sets them apart enough from Sonic, there are open, large stages with multiple paths, emphasis on cinematic scenes, and taking themselves seriously. On the other hand, it's another nostalgia rehash with Boost to win. I hate baseline Generations, never enjoyed, never caught the hype for a glorified Unleashed rehash with old repackaged stages, and I don't want it. As much as they try to portray the story as serious, it looks like another load of nothing like Frontiers. There are still 2D sections. And I'll never be able to listen to the Studiopolis voice actors without cringing. Kirk Thornton is at least using the Saix voice for Shadow, but it's still lacking.
Agreed. Dont get me wrong, think this looks good, but man I just want something that isn’t a rehash or just a mesh of incomplete ideas like frontiers. Also really sick of 2D, why are we still being restricted to a single plane of movement at all when there’s a full environment around the character
Awesome I hope will be not only excellent sonic game but perhaps one of the best sonic game ever I also hoped it will surpassed our expectations and live up to our hype hopefully to be good or even better than sonic generations or frontiers make it possibly the best sonic game and one of the great video game in recent history if done right executed well and written well this will also redefining and revitalizing sonic franchise I hope both sonic 3 and sonic x shadow generation will do shadow character justice. done right executed well and written well the many things I love about shadow and why he is one of my favorite character in sonic franchise that while he seemed dark cold stern ruthless merciless callous dour tough distant aloof apathetic stoic detached indifferent standoffish dead-serious no-nonsense anti-social distant quiet And solitary person he is actually a deep well-rounded multifaceted nuanced and complex individual who is more than just edgelord loner hardcore badass cold fish and male Ice queen he is actually caring selfless understanding well-intentioned helpful protective and human (no pun intended) while he doe appear to be a person with heart of ice stone and steel but in fact he has heart of gold even when he appeared to be lone wolf cynic realist grouch pragmatist and misanthrope that mainly due his backstory and past life due his only friend Maria the granddaughter of Gerald robontnik and cousin of dr eggman was killed by human soldiers during ark incident which explains his initial contempt and loathing for humanity along it worst aspects and tendencies
