@@owe_damonty7775the animations and voice lines seem to be the regular speed. So Im almost positive he’s really “just that nice” lol. But I know other RU-vidrs who speed up their gameplay very slightly to make it more intense.
Reptile now really feels like his unique style becomes optimal with the new moves... I hope they also think of unique moves for others that will make their gameplay optimal.
Yes this Reptile buff is a fantastic example and hopefully a good sign of what we could see with many other characters. New strings, new cancels, etc. rather than just balancing with frame data and damage, but actually making every character more diverse and fun the use. Any ideas of who might be next? And what do you think they could add to said characters?
For those worried about combo execution with Ermac, dont be! Lets be clear, these combos from Sonic, are way too complicated and not at all optimal\damaging. I think Sonic is just having fun with cancels. You can just do simpler stuff with scorpion and get over 35% easily with good Oki.
The brain muscle memory to do this is next level it would take me a week or two of consistent playing with ermac for my brain to pull this off and he only been out for 4days 😂 granted I haven’t played him yet but he looks complicated
The main game and tech for Ermac would be the pressure games which Sonic is doing here which is very very complicated to execute. Damage can be increased with proper kameo support, but the main thing to learn about this character is what Sonic is doing. A lot of people will rage quit in online matches with this kind of pressure!!
all of it is pretty gimmicky, in order to make it real u have to spend meter but his strike throw is pretty good, not that complicated tho i learned him and his cancels within a few days down pat

One thing about Ermac that everyone agreed with on Rips, is they def gonna nerf some of his shit, especially that bubble he can put up and take no dmg for like 6-7 secs, they’ll knock that time down like they did peacemakers shield 😂🤷🏻♂️

I love honeybee, playing Flash in injustice 2 and now Reptile in this game For those of you who don’t know he used to joke at tournaments that he was “from a timeline where flash was a really good character that won competitions”

Imagine inputting your regular 3 button combos, but then inputting db2 or bf1dd in-between every button. How fast your fingers have to be to constantly cancel and mash strings at the same time

Bro this was a royal beat down! I mean he got 5-0'd and HONEYBEE literally only won like what 2 maybe 3 rounds! Against honeybees best and only character which he plays all the time, and sonic was playing with his food because he kept doing color looking shit which was more difficult with less damage just because he wanted to have fun, it's crazy how good Sonic is.

I can’t believe that HoneyB would be dropping and seemingly not finishing most of his combos after a year of playing that one character… One would think that he’d be on point by now… Cause, Sonic’s control of Ermac looks more polished than HoneyB’s Reptile… And Ermac just came out 😅
@@LuisHenrique-gn9mk then why tf nerf him. I’d take “Boring Raiden” pressure vs new Ermac pressure. In my opinion storm cell would neutralize a lot of Ermacs pressure. Ermac is literally in his own league and no one on the roster is close to him in my opinion.
@@digital_nex2247 some characters need only 2 openings mid-screen to win or do a huge damage of about 90 percent. And most do this with little meter, to do any real damage with Rep you have to spend all your meter bars and assists. I haven't seen anyone play that character with good damage and meter to spear. Thats why I said he needs a buff.
@@Nostromo_TK he hit a flawless in sonic fox bruh. As a normal setting thats pretty damn good to me. Theres not really a side honeybee just doesnt compete like he use to.
@zachburch555 MK1 is a 2-3 touch game, a flawless mostly just requires one good sequence (still impressive though!). It's also like a 2-3 day old character. Honeybee just got cooked, man.
