I mean when you play something so much for so long its easy. I wasnt a pro at anything but was a semi pro at cod and won a lot of side tournys and thats cuz i played all day everyday, now i dont and im washed. Practice and no life is key lol
@@ryangibson1578exactly this. Practice + having no life/job/adult obligations and you will be very good at the game as well. And with that I mean practice when you are fresh,.not when you are tired from a 12h shift, went to the gym and met up with ur gf

I agree they never should have gotten rid of the rooms with challenging other players . The last game had both KL matchmaking and rooms why have less online options with a new game it's disappointing.
I noticed watching avirk nd sonic fight that people just respect sonic too much ermac has a lot of punishabl moves but with sonic and how fast he can do inputs people respect it and just hold block till he stops moving i seen avirk be punishing him
Why doesn’t sonic play against mfs in KL that already know how to play against Ermac even day 1 I had people mashing out of the cancel pressure, ducking the armoured wake up everyone just lets them get away with a whole bunch of shit. Sonicfox name instills fear or something and they’re scared to press?
It can seem like he's just running day 1 stuff and people aren't blocking, but you're missing the layered offense that's allowing him to capitalize on Ermac's best options. In ranked, most people don't bother to develop those different layers, so players get used to his most common gameplan. It doesn't matter how good that gameplan is if an opponent expects it, they can't help but slowly develop counterplay after running into it all day. This is why you see him do weird or sub-optimal stuff from time to time, changing his plan of attack, making sure to confirm decent damage off of a variety of hits. This causes the opponent to think, "Oh that hit can turn into respectable damage? I need to watch out for this thing he's been hitting me with, or maybe everything." That's conditioning in a nutshell. Once you have an opponent in this space expecting A or B, you hit them with C. You can start to play mind games and keep them guessing. That's when he switches to using more common, but stronger tactics. Once the opponent is stuck or slowed down by the mental stack of watching for various options they end up getting hit by the obvious. tl,dr. The goal is to effectively mix your other less valuable options in, to the point that your opponent begins to respect them. Then once they are watching for the unexpected, hit them with the simple stuff.
