Since my SONICWARE LIVEN 8BIT WARPS was broken (LED N16 of the sequencer was not lit) I had to return it fast to the shop. I could not dive deep into the unit. So I am giving only a short impression of the capabilities of the synth playing some FACTORY PRESET PATTERNS.
PART TWO as a continuation of the video will be published soon. And there will be also a PART THREE that is dedicated to the DRUM PATTERNS the machine is able to provide.

Just bought one and it's in the post but I was wondering if I had been a bit hasty in going for it. Love your demo and made me feel more confident in my choice ! Love the Liven vibes

It really does sound amazing, like between 8 bit and FM. Is it difficult to program?

No, it‘s quite intuitive. Only the multimode is a bit challenging.

This thing sounds the secks. Is this like grooveboxes where the patch memory is tied to the pattern, or are the sequencer and synth basically two separate parts?

A certain sound is tied to the pattern but still there is a patch memory and you can try different sound patches on the same pattern.

@@FatSynthDude Love my 8bw, and xfm! I'm a fan of the noisy plastic buttons. They work. nobody can hear them making plastic button sounds when you are playjng a gig, or recording an album. The rest of the time, these noisy buttons, and keys, make me feel right at home.
