Thanks a lot for this video. So far the only one from what i have already seen on YT to present all the sounds it has. I reckon i love many of them but the UI frightens me a little bit 😂
Great demo. Now please make some verbal tutorial videos so I can begin to know how to use this baffling box of delights. Thanks. Sonicware need to up their budget for English (language) documentation. I love my Sonicware Liven 8bit Warps and Liven XFM so it's only a matter of time until I love the B&B too.
I'm on the fence of buying the bass and beats or the XFM or both 🤑 Im just trying to avoid buying a paperweight 🙄*after watching this full video I think I will be buying the bass and beats first*😁🤑
Got mine today, I love the feel it's solid for the price. I do feel some parts of the manual are lacking. I'm currently trying to have the lfo route to the filter frequency to make a bass wubb but for the life of me I just can't get it to do it.
To assign a modulator to a source double tap the lfo button untill it blinks red. Then push the filter button to assign IT to the lfo. if you get a ---- it means that routing is NOT possible. If you are able to route it then push the parameter button of the filter you wish to be modulated by the lfo. Once again if you get a ---- it means it's not possible. If it is you will get a 0 or whatever number that parameter is already at. ALSO remember to enable/turn on the lfo with FUNC+lfo first or after routing.
Just wanted to add another tip to assignments. It you're having trouble getting a possible assignment to stick. Make sure after pushing the parameter of the element you want to modulate...you turn the encoder knob (or it's connected value pot) to set the amount of modulation you want. This is particularly useful when assigning parameters to the "assignable" knobs!😅
This is the worst shill I’ve ever witnessed and amazingly bad and awful sounding beyond anything considered “competing against”. You’ll never see this with anyone with a decent ear, considers themselves pro or is aiming or on a path to playing professionally. Not cause it’s embarrassing & super cheaply made, cause it sounds the worst of everything else ever made. There’s no excuse to ever spend money on this nor reason to own this thing, it feels cheaper than most actual toys & substantial in how many ways it totally fails. I hate this thing, but feel too guilty to pawn it off on some poor sad soul. So it got “the office movie” treatment.
I really wanted to buy this as it seemed to be impressive for wavetables, but your demo now makes me wonder. Given I would create some fat analog bass wavetable, could it come out well on this machine? I am having a hard time to locate any deep bass in this demo...
