Great video, yet again! I was turned onto Sonny Rollins when I was 16, or 17. I learned, Playing In The Yard, Tenor Madness, The Everywhere Calypso, Alfie's Theme, and St. Thomas. In those years. When I was 28, Manhattan was to expensive for me so I took my axe and slithered off, to live in Brooklyn, where I lived above a pub. I had a tiny practice room with an awesome personal perk, a view of The Williamsburg Bridge. You could almost touch it. I would play my tenor for hours staring at that bridge. Thinking about Sonny Rollins. Eventually, Brooklyn became to expensive.
You give such a good grounding of saxophone music for new players. I love your holistic approach touching on so many aspects of the instrument and the music.
