Hey there. Don't know if you remember my comment about waiting for LG for 2021. Well I bought the LG CX 77 inch with bracket and 5 year warranty but returning it. I read LG (CES 2021) will have a 83 inch OLED for April 2021..so I returned my LG (I have $4k credit at Bestbuy now). I did however buy the Sonos complete surround sound because I sold my Bose surround sound (he gave $2200 for it) Arc, Sub gen 3, and two SL1. Haven't hooked it up till I get LG TV 83 inch. What do u think? Great vidz
@@victormunoz1864 a lot of action, lol. Yeah the LG OLED 77 OR 83 in 2021 should be good. Cool about the Sonos. It's not a terrible way to spend the $1850 if the money is expendable. I'm $3200 in now and my wife isn't happy 🤣
like the features, setup was difficult for some of my devices (August Door lock, ru-vid.comUgkxhB5YOMNj04GuoAosExygP4cH-dKeb4aB Bose speaker)... but all switches and outlets (5), thermostat, tankless water heater. Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have.... Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with... I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me....
*It’s perfect for me. The size is exactly **Newest.Technology** what I needed. The sound is loud enough for me to hear without having to turn it higher. Suggestions on various uses is extremely helpful! Worth every dollar spent!*
Good call on buying open box sonos products. I started my entry into the sonos eco system by returning a google home mini that i got as an xmas present and walked out with a sonos one open box. Then i bought the sub gen 2 and beam when the beam was released. Now i have the arc, sub gen 2 and two sonos ones! Its a drug !
I have a sonos ultimate system with the arc, two fives, and two sub gen 3’s. This system is glorious overkill. I watch in a small den kind of room and I can’t put the system up past half volume or my ears will start bleeding. When you said at full power you can hear it down the street that’s no joke! Thanks for the video B!
@@LarsonChristopher why do you say that🤔❓ If not happy just buy a sonos amp and connect your favorit non wireless/smart speakers like the b&w speakers and add that to the sonos echo system 😂🤦🏻♂️😂
Have had the 5’s,the ARC,2sub gen 3. Most definitely got my 300’s o preordered. Wounded if I can use all of them just pairing say the 5’s “from a differ room” how do you think that would sound? I do have a very large space to fill. I absolutely needed the 5’s went from the 1’s gen 1 and now I can hear and feel all my music and movies are amazing!! It’s paird with our 85” QLED.
Got the arc and sub about a month ago, tonight I picked up the ones for surrounds and Christmas time seems like a good time for me to treat myself to a 2nd sub 😬. The arc, sub and ones as surrounds is seriously incredible. My wife looked at me and said “I feel like I’m at the movies!!”.
As always your videos are well informed, well written and fun to watch. Keep up the great work man. I do part time work at BB and I tell people all the time to watch your channel and learn. Much of what and how you explain are the same things we do which is awesome. Thanks again
I appreciate it. I talk to a lot of people there. Love getting ideas and people are very nice that help me. My friend ash got me a nice PC rig just a month ago.
@@BTheInstaller my next move is to add another sub to my ARC 5.1.2 setup. I’ve been waiting for a double sub for quite some time now so it’ll be nice to get it done
I purchased the Arc, sub 3, and the One SL's about a week ago, and it sounds absolutely terrific. I switched to Sonos from owning a 3 year old Yamaha receiver with Klipsch surround speakers with a Klipsch sub. The Sonos sounds amazing compared to my old system. After watching this video I think I'm going to buy the Sonos amp to power the ceiling speakers. Great video... and thanks for the amp tip.
@@swa99a10 yes great sounding speakers. There is one small issue though... the speakers sound great during action sequences, but when there are scenes with talking sometimes the talking seems a little quiet. Some movies seem to be fine whereas others it seems as if I'm always having to adjust the volume.
Hi! I was surprised by your comment. I was about to buy this whole sonos system but then I started looking for klipsch+denon home cinema systems which are far more expensive, but I am coming from and old sony 399 usd 5.1 system and I am really looking for an upgrade to get atmos, but everybody says Sonos atmos is not good. What is your opinion on that? be
Very informative!!! I'm waiting for the Arc to arrive next week and planning on getting the Sub 3 later. I'm actually hoping for Sonos to make firing upward rear speakers next.
I have the ARC since it came out, never thought a soundbar can sound this good.I have Martin Logan esl’s and Classe and Rotel for my home theater.Since I got the ARC I just disconnected my system.I just love the simplicity of the arc that this small thing can still give you great sound.I know I would love to have the SONOS sub,but I’ve spent so much money on my home theater that it’s gonna be a while until I add to the ARC.
Hello bro the day you decide to buy the buy and including 2 surround sonos speakers it will be like night and day the sub will give you an amzing sound together with the sonos arc and what more if you have the surrounds it gives you more inmersive sound as if you are inside the place of the movies or the where the singer is in music
I just bought the fives as rear surrounds for my arc and sub gen 3 and it’s amazing!! My couch is 12 ft from the rears and 12 ft from the arc and sub so I needed that volume from the fives. They were expensive but much more immersive than the one sl’s. Thanks for the great review and justifying the expensive purchase that my wife wasn’t too happy with, haha.
I bought 1 Sonos 5 and the sound it has with my record player is ridiculous. So much so that I’m now looking at a whole Sonos home theatre. The sound from the 5 has blown me away
Thanks for the video. I have had the first gen play bar for a couple of years, but didn't appreciate what I had. I recently gutted and remodeled my kitchen/family room and began my research. I had ceiling speakers installed in the kitchen and above my couch in the family room to use as rear speakers to my play bar. I am powering these with two sonos amps so I can separate the two sets of ceiling speakers. When I recover from the expenses of the remodel, I plan to buy the sonos sub. Very impressed by what I have so far and can't wait for the sub.
Well, I bought myself the Sony Master series A90J and I love it ! Then I bought the Sonos sound bar and one GEN three subwoofer along with a pair of Sonos fives! And then later I bought the flagship Panasonic DVD Blu-ray player the UB 9000 which plays 4K! That’s all I buy now is 4K movies. It’s just remarkable.!👍
I got the Move about 2 weeks ago and, was blown away. When compared against my amazon echo speakers. WOW. That is all I have to say. So, I went ahead and bought a pair of Five's. I haven't received those yet. We do more whole home music listening in my house. We do watch TV, but we listen to music about 80% of the time. I have an inexpensive Samsung sound bar with sub and rear speakers. That whole system cost me little more than a single five. I am happy with it but now I think I really need to replace that with Sonos as well. Here I come Arc, Sub Gen 3 and Sonos One's.
I started with just the Arc, loved it. Then I added a Gen 3 Sub, which I also love and have had since launch. And as of two weeks ago, I got another Gen 3 sub and I'm loving it. Eventually I'm going to get two Sonos Five's to pair with my existing setup. Your video helped me make that decision. Can't wait
Do you still have both subs? How did you like just the Arc with 2 subs??? I’m wondering if it’s worth going from 1 sub to 2 subs with just the Arc and no surrounds. What do you think? Thank you
i have had the playbar and two subs for two years now and love it, am wondering if adding the fives would make the bass feel less impressive as it pairs perfectly with my playbar in my living room
I got a beam, two stmfonisk speakers, a one, and a five for Christmas and I’ll be pooling birthday money in January for the sub. I live in an apartment so the arc might have been slight overkill, so for now I have the bookshelf speakers as rears, the five connected to my record player, and the beam in the living room. When we build/buy a house I’ll get the arc and move the beam to the bedroom. Can’t wait!
I just bought the arc, I have a gen 2 sub, two 5s and I am getting ready to buy the gen 3 sub.My problem is a bigger house as my living room isn't big enough. Your videos are awesome! Just what I needed.
This is hands down the most informative Sonos home theater video out there. I was hesitant on purchasing the Arc, coming from a Pioneer Elite/Harman Kardon 5.1 setup. However I am so glad I made the switch. I want to add a sub and surround speakers and this is the video I found. You answered all my questions and answered the questions I didn’t even know I had yet. Thank you so luck for all the information.
I have a small to medium room. I purchased the Sonos Bean and tuned it using Trueplay and it sounds very good. I ordered two IKEA/Sonos bookshelf speakers for my rear surround. I will be purchasing a Sonos 3rd generation sub in the future. I would have purchased a Sonos Ark but I didn’t want to spend the $. I’ve been listening to a lot of music (cd’s & streaming and it sounds fantastic. It also plays very loud. The Beam will sound even better with the rear surround speakers. I was going to buy Bose but Sonos blows them away. Thanks. Jim
Made the investment in The whole surround system.. Arc.. Latest subwoofer.. two SL1’s.. I regret nothing it’s hands down the best audio experience I’ve ever owned
I went with the arc and sub gen 3. After hearing it I got even more pissed off at my def tech studio soundbar for sucking so much. Lol. I went out and bought the 2 one sl and sanus stands. What a killer system. I put up with that def tech garbage for over 4 years and I had finally had enough. This was my most confident purchase I've made in a really long time so anyone who's got any reservations, coming from someone as picky as I am I'm 100%satisfied and I'll always recommended sonos from now on.
Your so good. Definitely my favorite to watch. You’ve helped me so much I can’t begin to tell you. You have a great clear speech pattern. And so informative. Thank you thank you thank you.
Went for the Sonos Arc, pair of Sonos 5’s & Sub. Gen. 3 package saving over £500- with Cyber Monday/price-match deal, to enhance the audio & complement the superb visuals of our 55in SONY XR55X94 Bravia 4K UHD full array LED TV. My mind was made up once i was disappointed to learn that, unlike the Sub. Gen. 3’s, the Sub. Minis can’t be paired. Also excited about rumours that Sonos will eventually support the DTS/DTS:X codec(?) Good, instructive video with some solid advice. Keep up the great work. Best regards.
Thanks for the 2 years ago review. Subbed.. I do not have a home theater setup. My back is to the tv wall, the fives are in stereo and are used as monitors towards me and the gen 3 sub is under the tv. So yes the fives will be used as a surround if the tv is used. No Arc yet but the music satisfaction is nice so far with this setup. Obviously the tv was not the most important thing but the arc will be used next. Love the wireless aspects of sonos. The mini sub, beam 2 and 2 sl's work good for a smaller room for sure. Super happy with that and expansion seemed like the best option.
I have a Sonos Arc with (1) Gen 3 sub and (2) 1SL's. Last week I upgraded my surrounds (2) to the new ERA 300's and today I just ordered a second Gen 3 sub. This should make a killer system. Everyone says that the 5's are the best sounding but I tell you the the new ERA 300's with Dolby Atmos also sound GREAT!!! Can't wait to receive the 2nd Gen 3 sub This system should sound really super.
Got the Arc, 2 x SL for rears and a gen 3 Sub. Now I'll be investing in my second Sub, I say investing because unlike the other sound bar manufacturers the Sonos echo system evolves, not just the firmware but the hardware you can add. Take note LG, Samsung etc who reset and have you buy the latest system every few years if you want the latest from them
@@BTheInstaller from what i know, the side speakers on the Arc turns off, when you add SL's as rear speakers. The sound is great, no doubt. The bass is unmatched, truly. But i'd rather get a Samsung Q960A, much better at almost everything besides the sub, for the fraction of the price. Where i live, the Q960A costs 1000$ and the Sonos 2800$. So the choice is pretty self explanatory.
Great vid. Just ordered the Arc & Sub Gen 3. Already have 2 SLs. Didn’t know I had to remove the SLs from app once I the Arc/ Gen 3 sub arrive. Thanks 👍🏾
I am installer of Sonos ARC systems with subs and rears and almost ever client needs the ability to control a center channel. Regardless of TV’s we have installed the issue with voices are being drowned out by background sounds. Sonos said they will look into it. I am not a happy installer of the Sonos ARC due to the very poor control of voice. The only way to get a better voice is set in night mode. The other issue with the Sonos ARC is the connection to HDMI ERC connection where the TV and speaker always switch automatically between TV sound and External sound. At Home Theater Experts we are moving away from this product until an ability to get more punch of voice center channel. Thoughts?
I have the Arc, sub gen 3 and 2 sl's in a living room about 12' x 18'. I started with just the Arc and added the 2 sl's first. Next came the Sub gen 3 which to be honest did not seem to make a huge difference in this room. I had to punch up the Sub audio a bit to get that rattle the walls bass response. That was even after using the Trueplay tuning. After some tweaking I pretty happy with the system. I will say that there were issues getting the Arc connected via WiFi which required help from Sonos second level technical support to resolve, but they were great and got me going. I'm considering getting a pair of 5's for another room just for playing music. Want something with "audio in" that I can connect a turntable to so I can enjoy my old vinyl collection.
My setup is: Sonos Amp + 2.1 from Sonance Invisible Speakers 2x is2 +SAW passive Sub powered by Sonance Sub Amp and for Surround effect I am using 2xSymfonisk Bookshelf. All sounds just great on it's own, or with the TV. 🔥Also looks very neat!
4 my medium size room, I think Sonos sub gen3 will suit. 4 me, quality matters n not quantity. Sonos stereophonic sound quality is great. Thanks a lot 4 this video clip.
I bought the arc and sub 3. Looking to add additional speakers but still undecided on the one SL's or the fives. I know for music, the fives are great, and I do listen to music, its just that they would be positioned behind the listener.
Bought ARC + ONE SLs, 20% discount from Sonos for $900 last night. Looks good, installed in just 10 minutes, thought I wish SLs were more powerful. I think even sub is not needed with this setup in smaller living rooms, especially townhomes with shared walls :D Paired with Samsung Frame 65 inch TV and my living room is now piece of art... Great for My little pony episodes for kids LOL
Happy New Year B. Great video, very informative as I'm upgrading my 4 home audio spaces to Sonos. Thanks for your earlier videos on the Sonos Arc & LG TV's. I paired the Arc with LG "77 Oled and it sounds great. Any advice on Sonos in-wall speakers or should I keep my Paradigm and connect to Sonos Amp?
I got the Arc, Sub gen3, and the SL Ones BUT also bought the Sonos Boost so that I only have one device pulling on my WiFi. It actually helps a lot. I'm so happy with my system. But I did hide all the receipts from the spouse....no need to stir the pot.
Excellent review ..... I bought in to the SONOS eco system a few years ago ...... and have 3 Playbars, 4 Gen 2 subs, a five, 4 ones, Amp, last Gen amp, beam ..... just added the Roam and waiting on the Move ...... I love all of it, and I can’t believe I have that much money poured into speakers .... but my house ROCKS all day and night and every time somebody visits, they leave and go buy their starter system. Did I mention my house THUMPS??
Sonos is nice as a smaller solution in your bedroom, but for the main home cinema/living room I would always get real speakers and an AVR/prepro. I have a soundbase with sub in my bedroom and KEF R series 5.1.2 in my living room and it’s a huge difference in quality. And because I shopped smart the price difference is not as big as people think, just go used or refurb for your speakers.
Thank you for this. I am building a house and was debating the in ceiling setup for the rears. I think I will skip that in anticipation for more atmos and at least a 7.1 setup.
@@mktalluri I’m already moved in. Amps and sonance ceiling speakers were out of budget. I was able to get an arc and two more sonos sl for the rears in a second room. The amp plus ceiling speakers will look cleaner though!
Great break down on the sonos line. I just purchased the Arc Sl and wanted to know what pairs well in the sonos family. I plan on getting the Sub in the near future.
Watched the whole 2 hrs of the live telecast that u did yesterday with STF. Learned a lot and subscribed to ur channel. Was very happy to see a video on Sonos Arc combined with the Fives. You already said that the Subs give much more Bass compared to just the Fives. What I would like to know is how the surround sound was when the Fives were kept vertical instead of horizontal. Definitely waiting to hear from you. Thanks!
Have the arc and it is great Looked around at other systems all were cheaper but did not have it like the arc Hope to add a sub at some time but for now this is great will be looking for other sonos products as they come along
Super helpful concepts. I will probably go with the arc, sub and SL’s. I can always upgrade to the fives for rears later if I fee the need. Doubt I will. We like to strike a balance of size/ sound performance to keep our space looking clean
Have had sonos for several years now, been rocking a weird ass combo with an old play 5 as my "soundbar", 2x play1s as rears and a sub gen2... yes with the aux cable to the tv from the 5.. you may cringe, but it has worked perfectly for us up until now. The play 5 got outdated and can't be used in the s2 app along with the others anymore, was kind of a dissapointment but atleast got a 30% discount on any sonos product. So ofcourse i ordered a sonos arc! The delivery time on this beast has my anxiety levels through the roof though.. I have been waiting for 2 months now and it still hasn't been delivered. Can't wait!
@@jkey0356 sonos gave a 30% discount on my play 5 since it was outdated and not s2 app compatible. I also have 2x 15% discounts for the 2x play1s i have aswell. If you log into your sonos account on their website it should show a bar uptop "get your upgrade credit" (on your mobile device, not sure how it looks on pc).
My wife is on her way to bestbuy currently to pick up the sonos arc and a sonos gen 3 sub. Both are open box and saving us a few hundred bucks! Eventually I will grab a pair of sonos 5's to put behind the couch, but I think for now, this will have to suffice as it was still about 1300 after tax lol.
Thank you for this video B the Installer. I am thinking of upgrading my old Pioneer receiver, (says iPhone 5 compatible 🤣), my 11 year old Bose center channel and my 23 year old 200 W Sony floor speakers and my 23 year old Sony 100 W bookshelf speakers. I am really thinking of buying a Sonos Arc and just adding more as time goes by. I currently have speaker wire hidden, well hidden, but where it’s hiding it’s just all over the place. A lot of it. My living room is not big however it opens up to a large den and a dining room. Hopefully I can find a Sonos Arc before summertime. Really appreciate your videos! Subscribing now!
Last year during summer I bought the arc (if only i knew SL was coming? Damn!!), sub gen 3 and two sonos one's, my goal was to have a plug and play wireless dolby atmos home theater system for my small living room. Also, i'm very into smart home stuff, so having airplay capabilities was a must for me. I guess Sonos was one of the few to tick all boxes, but hey i'm super happy with it. I don't think we're going to the movies again anytime soon (and not only due to Covid). Now, it's way more comfy (and cheaper) to enjoy a nice cinematic experience with this sound system. Bring your own popcorn and chill in your couch. The tv is of course also very important, we're using a c9 LG OLED. So enabled Dolby vision and atmos for the ultimate home experience with some great movies on the apple tv. Can only recommend it if you're willing to fork over the cash! Oh, and let me tell you. Who needs a second bass? Mine is set to 0, i tried 5+ but it was honestly way too much (read shaking out of your couch during an intense scene). I can imagine destroying your couch with two of those!
Only 30 movies or so covers the arc at $60 per family for tickets and food. No question it's a good investment, especially in covid. Money is tough though. SL limit you from upgrading later as they have no mics... I'd rather have your ones. Lastly 2 subs and fives is actually quite helpful in large rooms as the arc and 1 sub can't cover tons of cubic ft...
Here is the problem, Sonos acr and 2 subs cost more than a Denon/Klipsch/SVS set up which is 100X better fewer compromises and supports ALL audio formats. When I priced the Sonos arc with 2 subs and surrounds it came up to 3200.00 on their site, it required an Apple product to set it up and was still limited in audio formats supported. Im sure for a sound bar system they are great but I just think they are asking way too much for them when compared to a full system that definitely sounds alot better I bought a Denon X3700h, 1100.00 a Klipsch ref pack 5.0.2 speaker set up, 2 additional pairs of surrounds from Costco for 749.99 + 89.99 x2 and two SVS subs, PB-1000 Pro 12" subs 1150.00 for a total of 3150.00. I could have used less expensive subs and not gotten the additional two pairs of surrounds, and saved a lot, it would then be a 5.2.2 for about 2000.00 The Sonos requires power for every speaker so you are still having to place them strategically and run lines, you have to depend on blu/tooth, not the nest way to send and receive quality audio signals. IMO it is just as simple maybe even easier to run speaker wire, it is cheap, small, easy to follow the walls etc.. so for the little extra work, and the same or less money putting a full system together can sound much better, offer more and have fewer compromises. Later on you can also decide to upgrade towers, or surrounds or both, or neither, but you have that power, no compatibility issues. IF you have a small bedroom or a bathroom office etc.. then ok, fine a nice Sonos bar could be an easy solution. But for a living room, or main listening environment for movies, games and shows, Id prefer larger speakers, six to 8" speakers and 12" subs for a warmer deeper more dynamic sound. Just my opinion however I know these are very popular so get what appeals to you. I just hate to waste money, if I had spend 3200 on the Sonos system, I think I would be less satisfied than I currently am with my set up for the same money. I was going to order it, But the more I learned the more I liked the idea of a system vs a sound bar but to each his own, get whatever kindles joy for you.
You forgot another ARC max-out option that I have seen on a custom install .... a pair of Sonos in-ceiling with Amp as invisible rear surrounds AND also a pair of in-ceilings up front with an Amp configured and grouped to play stereo from the ARC audio simultaneously. In larger rooms this dramatically widens the stereo image by reinforcing the ARC, but the ARC keeps mono dialogue anchored to the TV.
Hey! Great content man! Quick question, I bought the Arc, 2 Gen 3 Subs, Sonos outdoor speakers and the Amp. Will all these work together? It's going to be installed in the Sunroom, with the door speakers outside. Will this system all work together, and if yes, will the TV be connected to the Amp or Arc, also, do the subs need to be wired to the Amp or can it connect wirelessly? Also, I ran 16 Guage outdoor wires for the outdoor speakers, would that be fine? Thanks again!
@Btheinstaller great video. However, I recently bought a LG C3 Oled 65” tv for my bed room. I wanted to ask you would the SONOS Bean work for me since I watch a lot of tv/movies. Or would you recommend the SONOS Arc
Glad I watched this video! I didn’t know that Costco had an SL of the Arc. I was back ordered at Bestbuy with no clear delivery date in sight. The microphone option for $50 more is a negative for me. The whole damn house has mics, why should I pay more to have it on a piece of hardware that I don’t even care to have it on?
Great reviews! Thanks! I have what I would call a large room (410 sq. feet) with a cathedral ceiling about 14 feet high in the centre of the room. What do you think I need to fill that space in the way of Sonos Home Theatre speakers? I already have an Arc and 2 play 1’s and this isn’t doing the job. Do you think a sub will be enough? Or do I need 2 x Sonos 5’s as well?
I recently bought an Xbox one s for 170€ bc it can convert dts into DD (Atmos or 5.1) via hdmi...you are right the lack of dts support annoyed me, too. I have the Arc, Sub Gen 2 and 2 Play: 3 as rears
Have already purchased pair of One SL but guess I will return BECAUSE NOW I KNOW, that I can’t double them around the house without disconnect issues, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY: I need the Arc instead of the beam. And I need the amp to make the Arc sound it’s best. Plus I need the upward fire speaker when it gets made. So first Arc then save. Then Sub then save, then new speakers for atmos.
@@BTheInstaller yes I will wait for the upward rear speakers to be developed. Frankly it will take me a year to buy the amp since I was previously going to go beam and no amp with One SL rears. I am sold on the arc to use the eARC lossless and assuming it will be just that much better
Great video, tons of info. I have a house full of Sonos, but in my finished basement where my biggest TV I have the Sennheiser Ambeo paired to a PSA XS30 (2 15” drivers in one sealed cabinet). Being on a concrete slab, I get very little tactile response. The giant cabinet of the sub is wearing on me. I am considering selling the Ambeo and my sub and going with the Sonos Arc and 2 subs (one corner loaded and one near field in an attempt to get some tactile response) and 2 1s as rears. Am I going to kick myself for ditching the Ambeo, or does the ARC compare?
This is the perfect video that I've been looking for. Quick question. Can I use my sonos one and buy a sonos one sl and use them as surrounds even thought they're not “the same”?
I’m running an Arc, two subs (G3’s) and three Ones, two In-Wall Speakers by Sonos and Sonance in my large living room, would adding a pair of Fives be “overkill” for surround ⁉️
Great video. I learned alot. I have the sonos subs, 2 play 1 speakers for surround, sonos arc sl, and adding 2 sonos in-ceiling speakers with the amp. What is best to set those up as to get the best sound in my room? I'm thinking about mounting them in the center of my room or closer to my couch to get the best sound. What are your thoughts? Thank you
Great video! We now have weatherproof Sonos Arc and Sonos Subs available. I'd love to get some of our weatherproof Sonos products in your hands to test and review!!
I just bought a PS5, 65' LG CX, Arc SL, and Sub two weeks ago. I'm an earlier adopter of Sonos and currently have the Play:1 for surround speakers. Is it worth to upgrade to the One SL?
I’m getting the arc here shortly, and I had a quick question. All of my movies are through my Xbox console. If the arc only has one port, will my movies still play the best sound and Atmos?
I feel pretty good about my recent purchase after watching your video. Did my own research and you verified it! VERY DETAILED AND INFORMATIVE! I got the Arc, Gen 3 Sub and (2) one SL's . I have not set them up yet as all of it has not arrived and our new home is not done being built. QUESTION.... with my current configuration, what would be the next add-on... IF its not enough for full surround watching movies or just listening to music?
Wonderful and informative video. I just subscribed and wanted to know where to check on best placement of the arc below tv and above a floating cabinet? I read mixed recommendations from a min of 4” above and belo to greater. Also, is the Sanus extended arc wall mount preferred over the So is arc wall mount? Thanks
It would be great if Sonos allowed a pair of Sonos 1’s as front surrounds. Meaning Sonos arc front center, Sonos 1’s front surrounds , Sonos era300’s in the rears, and one other rwo Sub gen3’s. I mean what’s really beating that. They really need to work on that expansion.
Hi B, thanks a lot for the good advice. I have a sonos arc and the ones as surround. I have an open concept living area with the kitchen. The fives will be too much as surround but what do you think about adding the fives as front together with the Arc and the ones as surround?
Hi, I’m planning to buy Sonos arc and sub gen 3. However, I saw Samsung hw-q950w is a lot cheaper and it has more many advantages compare to Sonos.yet, I don’t know the quality of sound. Since you are the expert of it. What are your opinions about those two products? Which one is better and worth for money? Thank you in advance
Great vídeo and advices, thanks I thinking on buying the Arc + sub gen 3 + one sl's for my 60sqm room, is it enought? Is it possible to pair two more sl's next to the Arc + 1 more sub gen 3 ? But more important, do you think it makes sense? Once again, thanks
Hey man thanks for all the info on the Sonos stuff. What are you thoughts of using the play 1's for rears ? Do you think there would be much of a difference between the play 1 and one SL ?
Really good and informative review. I actually purchased the Sonos arc, 2 one SL's, and Gen 3 sub for our main tv area. And the beam and 2 one SL's for our bedroom. I absolutely love the systems and how they have worked for our spaces. I also considered the 5's to replace the one SL's for the main room but figured it was overkill. Now I am waiting to see if Sonos will come out with an outdoor entertainment system.
