I really think in person the Sonos is in a league of its own. Their engineers really spent some time figuring out where to put everything to give the most spatial sound possible from one speaker. Yes this means you have to actually think about where you put it, but if you have $500 to blow on a speaker and a place to put it, I doubt anyone would be disappointed by the Sonos.
For me,Bose sounded better as a layman... I've listened to it physically and the sound is amazing, you also didn't take time to tell us about the mini screen on the bose which rest didn't have,it also has setting where you can create your own play list using the number prefix on top for the bose 500 speaker.. sound emission is 360 and very deep base.. design is amazing
Can the bass on the Bose be just a bit deeper then on the video? I also feel like I would prefer more treble on the Bose. Then it would be a winner for me. The homepod lacks and the era 300 is too bright for me.
Next time can you compare the Sonos era 100 versus home pod 2 so it has a better time of keeping up cuz it's around the same size and that's the preventive from struggling to keeping up
So GymCaddy ..Sennheiser just increase the lame Three Band EQ to a Five Band EQ on their app.!! And a some new firmware upgrades. And Bass Boost Button. My thoughts about Sennheiser True Wireless Momentum 3’s..The Two’s are less finicky…Mars and Jupiter must be in the right spot for the 3’s Earbuds to perform flawless. Is there going to be a 4’s earbuds coming soon? What about Apple’s Pod Max..they are three years old ..what about Bose..700..They are truly old..and needs to be updated! Thanks love ur reviews
You need to consider that Bose and Sonos are built-in Alexa, they don't have all the functions of Echo Studio. example , they can not reproduce some routines that the amazon device can
Hello, I'm checking if it is worth to upgrade my Bose Soundtouch 30 S III for 1 or 2 Sonos era 300. What do you think? I have a turntable connected to it so I don't know how the set up is done for 2 speakers, do you need a wire and USB C adapter for each or from one speaker the stereo signal goes to the other? Also, I use Apple music, all reviews mention the dolby atmos part but not if they stream in HighRes or just standard resolution. Is this something you are aware of? I have the sound system in a large-ish room and I don't care about Siri or any virtual assistant. Sorry for the many questions but I really trust your reviews.
My son bought the Smart Bose 500 four years ago and it was working very well, however it suddenly stopped playing one year ago with no physical damage and even though, I tried to connect with Bose, no answer has been received. Please don’t waste your money buying this device !!!
mine just started to malfunction and freezing and it turned itself on the max volume and stayed there until I unplugged it. Next thing I know the speakers were blown. luckily its still under its 1 year warranty. If they offer me money back I may get something else
You can’t compare speakers at 100% volume due to dsp difference. It was not a fair comparison. You should know what you’re doing before creating a video and uploading it
The era 300 sounds better,grouping?Sonos is specialist on that,you can put the speakers you want in every area of your house and play all the speakers at the same time,you can play each room also with different music.
Bose customer service is 1 of the worst in the world ,Apple known by best customer service to me .If you are a Apple products user to me HomePods 2 much better ( sound quality and connectivity ) I also like Bang & Olufsen speakers as well
