In this case no club member would have a bug on their person because they would assume they would be searched knowing they were under suspicion. So the bug in the cell phone I can understand was a HUGE red flag. The car bug he could have not been a part of , but to anyone else I can see where the cell phone bug would look so guilty. That is a subversive way of getting around the club strip search that Opie may have been forced to do.
And she 100% deserved it, I hated her character from start to finish despite understanding where she was coming from, it takes great writing and great acting to pull that off. She even eclipses Ron Perlman at times, and he is a powerhouse himself.
Sadly it wasn't for the season she deserved it, but I am glad she got one anyways. The fact that she made you think of Gemma when you look at her and not Peggy Bundy, shows how great of a job she did in this show.
Tig is the Sergeant at Arms, the enforcer, the one to get bloody when needed. You'll see how this plays out as the series progresses. One of my favorite characters.
Sons of Anarchy is basically a re-envisioning of Hamlet, which is probably one of the most tragic of Shakespeare's plays. As Tyrion said, "if you're expecting a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention" lol.
It might not be an outright spoiler but this is like saying "there's a crazy twist at the end" when recommending a movie to someone. Sure you aren't spoiling the actual twist but spoiling the fact there is a twist is also a spoiler. Just like spoiling the show is like Hamlet and has a sad ending. Maybe consider that next time you feel like oversharing because believe me a lot of people would consider this a shitty spoiler to just drop out there.
@@TheAustinKendall The last episode of SoA aired in 2014. The actors themselves promoted the show as a Shakespearean play set in a motorcycle club.Shakespeare only wrote a couple types of plays, Comedies and Tragedies. If you've gotten to Episode 11 of Season 1 and think this is anything but a tragedy you literally haven't been paying attention. As Ian McShane said "You say the slightest thing and the internet goes ape. I was accused of giving the plot away, but I just think get a f---ing life. It's only tits and dragons."
@@bamboozla9977 You know you might be right. I think Tyrion said a very similar quote about justice to Martell when Tyrion was in the cells for "murdering Joffrey"
Enjoying the re-watch - Back when this was released, I made it a few seasons in before I couldn’t find anyone left to root for… we’re not there yet but eventually I had to tap out. Still it’s a great show, fantastic actors giving amazing performances. Ride on! but be ready for some rough roads ahead. 😎
I've watched SOA a few times, it's great revisiting the show with you're reactions...no spoilers, I'll just say you're scratching the surface with this show!!@
I just want to say I’ve been watching you both for 2 years + and you both are amazing people me and my mother love you both ❤ but with this show you will be on a amazing ride😊
I just love how excited y'all get about this show. I just started watching this episode and it's been like 10 minutes recapping the season. Going over every detail. Really shows how into this show you are
I haven't watched SOA yet but really enjoying it with you guys. Been following you since GoT and still enjoying your reactions. Plsssss drop the final episode tomorrow ....the suspension is killing me😭😭😭
Otto - Kurt Sutter - is the showrunner/creator and writer of the series and married to Katey Sagal (Gemma) in real life. Maybe someone already mantioned this. Other series created by Sutter - THE SHIELD - amazing!
Tig is a complicated character always. Though without him being so fiery we wouldn’t have that tension and shenanigans. That is what makes this show so good. All the different characters are so deep and complicated that you are just enthralling. That is why I love this show so much.
Everything set here all plays a part until the end of the show. The brotherhood is fractured the trust is flimsy and even Opie honestly saying he was did not rat Tig and Clay expect the worst from him and plan his death even while they say ‘We’re cool Ope’ to his face.
Wendy is played by Drea de Matteo. She played Adriana in The Sopranos for at least 5 seasons. She is a badass biotch. As well as a Hottie Karate, cause that sh!t is kicking. Love that woman.
17:31 This 100% illegal and she would go to jail for this. This is equivalent to kill someone and the state do not have a license to kill, the state can only kill to end an imminent threat or by a court order when a judge sentences someone to death. What she did is called a "conspiracy to commit murder". But if the question is : did it ever happened? Probably, yes. But if caught, these are the charges they would potentially face : - Conspiracy - Accessory to a Crime - Filing a False Police Report - Perjury - Obstruction of Justice
I know that I already commented. But I'm coming through with another one. From what I have learned...Police, Detectives, as well as ATF, CIA, DEA (etc) Agents are allowed to lie, especially during interrogations. They are unable to use physical force. However, the are able to lie and use psychological tactics to trick the suspect into admitting...{I'm adding this part in completely on my own} whatever truth the Officer, Detective, or Agent may need in order to incarcerate that individual and gain more information that could possibly incriminate others. The whole logic behind what these Officers or Agents do whilst interrogating someone is very reminiscent (if any of you have watched or read The Exorcist) of a demon. They or it will mix lies with the truth to confuse you. To upset you, make you emotionally and physically weak, and eventually break you down. That honestly just came to my mind when Steven asked if what Stahl was doing to Opie was legal? She was lying and setting him up. But yeah, they can do that. It's extremely frightening and incredibly nefarious. Considering that quite a bit of law enforcement are able to act in that manner when sometimes they are just as bad as the people they are going after. Often times the authorities are worse, because they know they can get away with the sh!t that they do. Hide behind the badge and whatnot. One of the reasons so many individuals don't trust law enforcement. I'm speaking...well typing about the people in the U.S. Please God, do not let me get into any trouble for this comment.
The what do you do with the baby question estion is where jamaica gets a large portion of her power. Gemma and the other spouses are supposed to coordinate that either if one of the spouses get sick or if somebody is a single father
@@FireAndBlood96 I know all that but I highly doubt he wrote everything by himself. I’m sure there were writers involved with this show. He’s also the creator of Mayans MC, which is good too but not as good as SoA and it’s mainly because the writing has been lil shaky the past few seasons.
@@KrystalAnn0688 she won a golden globe but the show was largely shat on because it was considered “trash tv” at the time and not something to be taken seriously, which is a shame. It got like 5 Emmy nominations during its entire run and I think most of those were for the music.
A lot of people seem to be ready to kill Opie for sure. Tig is the seargant at arms (see the patch on his right side). He is the one who handles discipline and punishments
I have the most unpopular opinion about this show. I absolutely hate Opie. Every time I do a series watch/re-watch, I hate Opie more and more. I don't get the love for the character. He REALLY frustrates me. My main issue is that he constantly complains/whines. I agree with what Piney tells Opie in an early episode. He needs to stop whining/complaining and be a man. No one else in the club whines/complains as much as Opie. They bring up issues, but they do stuff about them instead of pouting. Everyone can hate me all they want with this opinion, but I really don't care. I'm not seeing stuff. Every time I watch/re-watch the series, I just grow to hate Opie more and more instead of liking him more and more. God awful character.
omg yes, most underrated show of all time, absolute madness, so well written and directed, can't recommend enough. Cinemax shows in general were fucking awesome.
I don’t know. I re-watched the show back in January to prepare for these reactions and be refreshed on stuff since my last beginning to end series watch/re-watch was somewhere between 2016 and 2018. I kind of prefer Wendy now after this recent re-watch. Might have to do with me getting older. The actress that plays Tara is about 4-5 years younger than Wendy’s actress. So I was more into who was younger. Plus I prefer girls/women with darker hair. But I kind of liked Wendy more in this last re-watch I did. It might have to do with Wendy’s story arc throughout the show and personality.
There's a bunch of women around the sons. He's got built-in rotating babysitters at a moment's notice. Most of them would be willing to do a favor for the VP. none of them want to irritate grandma and Grandpa so they're going to be on their best behavior while watching the new Prince of the club.
You 2 should really do “Justified” series! it’s as good as this if not better in ways and after 8 years the show is returning for another run NEXT MONTH!!! So it’s about to be current again!
Justified is very good but I really would love it if they reacted to the show Banshee. If you haven't seen it, check it out it is outstanding. Every episode is good there are no fillers.
I am so glad you guys are watching this. I suggest it to anybody that will listen... including other reaction channels but you guys are the first to do it. Of course, I can only watch your regular RU-vid posts, so you are almost at the end of season 1. My absolute favorite tv series ever...of course, I grew up with a biker dad, and am a biker myself. He wasn't into the stuff these guys are though. I own the box set (as I am a huge physical media collector) and have watched through the whole series 6 times in about 3 years. I love it! Buckle up and enjoy...it only gets crazier.
Same for me Biker dad and all but the only thing that killed the show for me ( even tho it shows quite a bit it was on FX which where I am is basic cable ) I would have been alot happier if it was on HBO, Cinemax or Starz so that nothing would have been held out. Not complaining tho is was great and up there with my favorite shows ever. Only behind GOT, Banshee, Warrior and Spartacus. I'm really hoping they react to Banshee next but I'm afraid people are going to push them to the crap that's popular now. If you haven't seen any of those shows I named check them out brother especially Banshee. It's absolutely insane !! Take care.
Guys can you gi e us your top5 ppl in the show at the e d of each season and why, maybe not even discuss it between so it's a surprise. Maybe even structure it like president,VP and 3 prospects lol. Great reaction guys
I think they are going to wait until the very end to say something. They are worried that they’ll say something and then someone will say “oh, they die in Season whatever or Episode whatever” or will say if they make it to the end. They don’t want to know that kind of stuff. I even asked them in a livestream once and they pretty much hinted to people possibly spoiling if a character lives or dies or maybe say something like “don’t get attached to the character.” Or I could read between the lines to figure out that’s what they were saying. And ever since I got the reply I did, I have never asked again. Other people still ask though, but they keep saying they aren’t talking about it…yet.
No spoiling. This is info they don’t want to know. They have a crazy level as to what is considered a spoiler. It’s almost to the point that I’m waiting for them to say that the title of a show or movie is a spoiler.
So, I believe that Otto ( Kurt Sutter ) is married to Katey Sagal (Gemma , and Peg Bundy - Als wife) and the younger sheriff is Taylor Sheridan the writer of Yellowstone ( and Travis ,the cowboy in Yellowstone) .
Wait? Was y’all’s oldest kid really born in 2012? Damn that makes me feel strange. 😆😂🤣 I turned 32 in January and my YOUNGEST son was born in 2012! My oldest kid is nearly an adult! 🤯 He was born in 2009! So when I’m 36 my oldest son will be 18!
U guys are getting into one of the best part in the show 💯💯💯💯 I wish u guys can upload more sons of anarchy videos quicker I’m waiting 24/7 for u guys to post videos of soa 😭😭😭😭😭😭 love u guys 💯💯💯 best reactors

I know it's way in the future, but I hope you guys go straight into Mayans after this. I wish I could go back and watch everything for the first time again.
I came across your channel on the first episode of sons of anarchy as its one of my favourite TV shows same as game of thrones and vikings and punisher and I love the fact that you both react to these diverse gory character build ups fucked up shows, and hearing your opinions on how you sum up the ending anf your intros are really interesting to see if we think similar or not keep it up all I can say is your gonna love this show and it will be on your top 5 list 💙
