Every time I start a new game I always kill that useless asshole with my axe. The only thing he does in the whole game is to get in the way and sometimes that incompetent bastard even destroys your base.
This game is already so damn good, I am so excited for 1.0 and REALLY hope it keeps receiving updates for a good while after. A game this good shouldn't be abandoned too soon.
I wouldn’t buy it now even if they did everything’s been spoiled on RU-vid. The hyper is completely died and grand theft auto will be out by then. Loads of money left on the table here.
I remember I bought the first Forest when it came out, and watching the game slowly but surely getting updated and finished is a experience I'll never forget
For the people that want it on console - they know you want it and are most likely working on it, they probably wanted to get to a 1.0 like state before console became more of a priority
Just bought the game post 1.0, absolutely amazing. Should’ve bought it sooner. My only gripe is that I REALLY want FSR 3 Native AA in the game, maybe even include the frame gen as well.
Whishlist for The Forest 3: - Map Size maximum twice of The Forest 1. SotF is WAY too Big. - No more Crafting Animations - Pls END the Story and connect everything, answer all open Questions from Forest 1 & 2, Maybe playing as "Old Eric" - A Step back to regular Items, more Survival, not like in SotF we play as a One-Man-Army with too many Guns, maybe keep modern Equipment like a GPS, but not with endless Battery (Solar Panels to Charge) or finding Pieces of a Paper Map of the Island or Eric have to sketch his own map trough High Points on Hills maybe?
no big map is nize its not too big they just have to add more stuff to the game to warrant the larger size nobody complains about rockstar games their game maps because theyre huge but rockstar also knows to fill it up with cool stuff to do and see
@cristopher8186 yes but the first one was planned to be on console at the start, sons of the forest has always been planned to be a pc exclusive, the devs favor pc much more and are abandoning the console experience it seems
4 days ago me and my dad started The Forest because we got bored of playing Online Fps games over and over again. WE were hooked. I have never ever in my life grinded a game so hard with my dad😂. So please release Sons of the forest on console. I would never get tired of laughing with my dad while cutting down trees and exploring caves.
I would really like it if it included the mechanic of being able to make ropes and not having to find them. Honestly, I see it as necessary like in the first installment of the game
This is the real AAAA game!!! Not too expensive, good graphics, promises kept and a great developer team with above-average skills. I love the game!!!!
I pray this game comes to console. Unfortunately it just runs dreadfully on my PC! A console release would make this game the number 1 PS5 survival horror, just like the first game did on PS4! This is by far my favourite survival game in the market, a crazy improvement from the first game. Endnight, if you're reading this, get this game on to console. It'll sell like hotcakes!
Was released before the update on IGN, now that the update dropped they probably can upload it on their channel or something. Also makes more sense to have the video here and not on IGN 🤮
My Favorite survival game 9,5/10. The Building mechanics and crafting mechanics are the best there is in a survival game. There are still little things to complain about here and there but you can always do that. The only 2 things im missing is death after dehydration and hunger (necessary in a survival game) and a feature that makes it really necessary to build a base. Love the hole team behind endnight. Fan since playing The forest in 2018
End night you make our favorite games and the detail and extra stuff and fun in SOTF is crazy. Hate when I die and have to start back at the start of caves though. And the new quicker death if knocked down feature. 😄
I'll purchase once the game supports VR. The Forrest has been the second best VR experience I had (after Half Life Alyx). Also, why no Steamdeck support ?
Endnight like to focus on one goal at the time, its likely they will now work on console/steamdeck support and then maybe later VR even if I am not sure if its something they will want to do looking at how much effort it will be. But we will see

THIS GAME WAS A MASTER PIECE! I even came up with an idea for 3rd forest game lol It starts with Jack Holt (SOFT MC) getting to his final age and his son Riley Holt. Goes on a yacht trip after Jack Holt died. But then it went very very wrong. RIley woke up to use the emergency fire axe. And he ends up in another island full of mutants and cannibals. Anyway that was my idea for 3rd forest game lol Carly: A female companion that you can obtain like Virginia. She has 2 heads 3 legs and 1 baby arm on her chest. It's not a mutant. It's a condition like Virginia
You got me addicted to playing Sons Of The Forest. It was a great purchase. Thanks Vladd. I just wanted to share what would be really cool to me if Endnight made a new update DLC for this game to buy..... A paradise Island that was taken over by Cannibals and Mutants that had a Sactuary there and a Merchant to buy things from there with a few more bosses over there. Also Beach Theme Items to collect and decorate your base with and find swimming trunks and bikinis in the game. A string bikini thong for Virginia. Haha. Or playboy bunny ears and bow. I would like to see Endnight add Cows, Chickens, and Pigs to the animals that you can put in base made barns and coops. New recipes for Hamburgers, Pizza, Eggs. Etc. Peanut and Coffee plants on the Paradise Island to find and Oranges, Lemons, Pineapples, Bananas to Grow. There could be Mutant Animal Bosses on the Paradise Island. New equipment that's need to be able to progress through important caves containing other important end game necessary items needed to collect. And don't forget to add the capri suns to collect to drink and the flip flops all over the Paradise Island. Haha. It would be sick if Sons of The Forest had all that too. And the ability to build your own Swimming pools indoor and outdoor in the game. It could still be made in a way that it was also a Survival Situation on The Paradise Island too. You could get Mad Cow Disease. The Bird Flu or Swine Flu. New pills to find to cure those. All kinds of new stuff could be done in a way that feels like it fits with the game and works. Oh yeah, and adding a Computer Monitor to find in the game and A Desktop Gaming Computer to find with components missing that you need to find so you can get the Gaming Computer working and you can make a Gaming Studio in your Base eventually inside The Sons of The Forest Game. That would be sweet. When you found everything the monitor comes on and It shows The Sons of The Forest Game Title. Maybe it has a File on the PC to open and A CODE needed in the game inside that file to read.
Man I wish this game releases to Xbox/MS store one day too. I would love to get the game's achievement collection to gamerscore. It would be also very amazing if the legacy The Forest also come to xbox service one day.
That's cool and all... But you can make double if not triple the profits if you release the damn thing on consoles. It's been a year and I am stuck with The Forest... Justice for PS5 players
