exactly! And only truly passionate artists who take the art of singing seriously can study how each and every syllable is sung by the original singer. I'm referring to Sonu here, he really does study the subtlest and the minutest details, the most delicate ornamentations at the end of each line in a song. I believe some students who study music, they like to call it "kanswar."

That's called honest and critical judgement for improvement. Not false praises all the way we see in current format of this same program. The way Sonu Nigam explains the rendition of notes and nuances in a song, shows what being a judge is all about.
