I have really started to like this guy. He is genuine. He shows high respects to others especially those older than him. He is not selfish. I can see his appreciation of singers before him. He is the link between the old time and the new time. He has devoted his life to keeping alive the past era. And I like it.

The best singer in my lifetime. It's travesty that people have forgotten him in the advent of singers like Arijit Singh,Honey Singh,Ankit Tiwari.. I know that after 20 years I am going to forget about the newbies but Sonu Nigam will remain there,in my playlist, like he had always been. A legend. Maybe, the last singing legend.

You are spot on Rajiv. Sonu will always be remembered bcoz he has proved himself to be an iconic living legend. There was nobody in the past and even today, who can talk with so much of confidence. He knows what he is talking especially when he says Kaamyabi milna alag baat hai aur izzat ek alag hi baat hai. He doesn't belittle anybody and has a photographic memory. His sense of humour is remarkable and his spoken English is absolutely impeccable. Hard to believe he gave up studying after school....he seems to be a very well qualified man. His analysis bout anything , be it life or music ; is something that can catch your attention bcoz of the way he talks.

I am bound to say that it was the finest of interviews ever of Sonu Nigam I have come across.... so much of content in whatever he spoke.... not just a famous singer but intelligence was shinning in all kinds of analysis he did n spontaneity in presentation as an answer to the questions.... it's truly said that it is talent that takes you to the top, but it is the character that keeps you there.... long live Sonu Nigam. Have to appreciate the interviewer as well, the way she drove and presented dignified worthy questions actually were the keys to bring out this wonderful conversation. Couldn't help appreciate and comment here.

A very very fine interview touching various facets of Sonu the Singer and Sonu the human. I wish if the the interview was for about 2 hours or more as where it ended left me wanting for more as if it was a promo!! Kudos to to Indu Mirani for bringing Sonu and getting him speak so candidly. H e is a living legend and hope that he would continue to mesmerize us in the future as well. What a person he is every second iam gonna fall in love with him oh my god his every point of view is something else the way he looks at things makes him unique. palwasha sadiq arijit Singh, Sonu nigam sabki singing style alag hai agar aap singer ko compare karna hai to ek song ko gaye hue dono singer compare koro just like ek pal ke liye kk version vs ek pal ke liye Sonu nigam version then you know better singer here kk nailed it
