Yeah...Usha ji has composed so many melodies as seen from my childhood.

This masterpiece was originally chosen to be sang by Rafi Saheb, due to Rafi Saheb and Rajendra Kumar jis great collaborating successes, but Rafi Saheb in that time was busy doing stage in foreign countries. The movie makers and music director were willing to wait for Rafi Saheb to return. However it was Saheb who recommended Yesu das ji name to them, knowing how great Yesu Das ji was as a singer. Rest is history. The song was a bumper hit.

Why should Sonu copy Yesudas ji. He has his own signature voice and style, he has own identity in singing.

Sonu didn't manipulate his voice texture to mimic yesudas's voice but definitely sang the song in yesudas Ji's style

he did justice may be you didn't like it. some songs are so much close to us that we can't accept anyother singer's voice in that.

He did a great job. He sang in his style, not trying to mimic kjy. He did justice to the song. I liked his version after kjy's original one.
