I thought it was Shreya Ghoshal. Sonu Nigam is a legend and he understands music more than any one in this industry. I am sure he has found something legendary in her singing and it made him cry.
These days Classical music is not being pursued by everybody, but a true musician knows its value and will always appreciate the singer who does it well
Brother. For an amateur classical musician also these sargams are quite easy. I dont know why Sonu ji was crying coz what the girl sang(she was pitch perfect) was quite simple.
Morden songs are not bad their way is different everyone has their own taste it is no problem to support them the people u talk legends causes they have spend their 10 20 year only for learning it if morden singer tries for that long they could have been evey morden singer do not have time they only focus earning money if u ask your music teacher every singing system is same even arjit singh is classical singer i think u know that no need of worrying

The reason sonu sir crying is not because of the song or her speed. Its her voice.. the sur is resounding like if she is not singing from throat. Her voice box is tuned extermely like an instrument. It feels like magic

Yes most of the malayalam classical songs have really complex mix of swaras which makes it super outstanding.That's the very reason Yesudasji has won the maximum number of national awards-8.
