I have the 65 inch Bravia oled.it's about three years old now. Absolutely stunning! Replaced a DLP Sony that I had for at least 10 years. Nice to see the new stuff coming. Sony rules!
@DerekFromSony yes, I have been!! 😃 It's been almost 2 years since I got a great value on a previous year model. Recently added a 4K Blu-ray player. The Blues Brothers was exceptionally good, it was like you were in the car with them!! Jaws was great too! Keep the superior products coming!
I've seen the 65 inch Bravia 9 won't be available in the UK, leaving us with only 75 inch or 83 inch options, which is a massive shame as I have no chance of fitting a tv that large in my house.
Sony tv is well trusted when it’s come to tv,I still have Sony tv 42” LED since 2011 and still doing fine.but now I’m planning to buy new one the Bravia 7 75” with Bose 901 series 6
I have a quick message for whenever decided not to release the 65 inch model in EU countries. The reason why Sony 65 Inch models don't perform well in EU is ONLY BECAUSE SONY HAS THE HIGHEST PRICES ON THIS SIZE compared to other brands, sometimes close to 50% higher.
@@florinip1978 It's not a "tax" it's paying for better quality and PROCESSING that no other brand will EVER come close to as well as QUALITY that will last for 4-5 yrs easily. If you are concerned about "tech specs" and BLINDING brightness, go right ahead with Samsung, LG or one of the other inferior brands that will last a couple years tops.
Guys, please start selling the 65 inch version of the Bravia 9 in Europe as well. The device seems to be great from what has been published so far, but in typical European (i.e., smaller) rooms, placing anything bigger than 65’ means filing for divorce 😂.
Glad you're still digging the A95K! The A95L could really be considered an early 2024 model. Sure, we always like to see the next big thing, but sometimes it makes sense to space things apart to make bigger changes! Time will tell!
I wish the Bravia 9 would come in a 55 inch. I know the Bravia 7 comes in a 55 inch, but it's still a downgrade from the 9. Also, a digital clock display on the front of a new 4K UHD Blu ray would be nice.
@@HARSHJAIN11008 I get Dolby digital 5.1 on my receiver and when watching movie it’s incredible. I don’t have a soundbar, I have a Yamaha receiver RX-Z1. I have Xfinity for my cable service and I’m using a small cable box. I’m trying to switch to RU-vid TV, I have a free trial right now and with RU-vid TV I’m not able to get 5.1, I have no idea why. I don’t use the tv speakers, I turn on my receiver when watching tv and bypass the tv speakers
any info when nxt tv updates & how far back do sony carry on supporting older tv models & come on sony how can you show 4 new tv models & not show ps5 & gaming
I don't have any info to share about future updates, but you can check out the Support by Sony and add in the model you're interested in to see what the updates are as they are released. As far as updating older models, that's always under consideration, but as technology changes, it isn't always possible to update based on software needs and hardware limitations. So Sony has realized that people aren't going back to theaters after the pandemic? I much prefer to watch movies at home and I guess others with high-end TV sets do too.
Bravia 9 or LG G4 T.T I've had my A80J for 3 years and I'm looking to upgrade for a bigger size. Naturally I'd go for OLED again, but if this MiniLed has new and improved tech and looks better, I'll snatch it. Sony has better contrast and sharpness, as well as a better OS. Never had LG before. I do have some brand loyalty to Sony, though. So I hope by them calling the 9 a flagship that it knocks all OLED out of the water.
Thanks for the comment but just to add that the NEW BVMHX3110 reference monitor technology came from the technological advancements from the Bravia 9. Also keep in mind that Sony has multiple Flagship models for 2024, Bravia 9 4K Mini LED, A95L 4K QD-OLED, and Z9K 8K Mini LED.
watch digital trends review of 9. Great TV but it's not an OLED killer. If you have good lighting conditions for OLED, then it's still the best option for you. Between those 2 i'd go g4. I own both a sony and LG oled and even though i prefer sony the LG is so close. And the G4 would be a decent upgrade from the a80j
@@Moondoggy1941 Only best Sony TVs regardless of price. I would recommend you the mini-led ones. The LED technology is currently better than OLED. Loosing much less brightness in full screen. Don't worry for the black levels.
Nope, it's more of an X80 equivalent. The Bravia 7 is the closest thing to the X90L, but it's arguably more of a new X93L when you look at the price. Both American and European outlets are reporting that, according to Sony, X90L will continue to be sold in 2024. So I guess there's no direct replacement for now. Maybe next year there will be a Bravia 5 or something that's more of an X90 successor?
@@furballbear Yeah, there's room for more models in the lineup. I could see Bravia 4 = X85, Bravia 5 = X90 and Bravia 6 = A75 (more affordable OLED) or A90 (small OLED).
Sony issue has always been naming their products, at least with this they make it easier. Look at their headphones instead of having an sleek name like airpods or galaxy buds they are called WF-1000XM5 that's basically a serial number not a name. Now they are doing it better with giving their products proper names. Instead of A95L it will just be bravia 8
To simplify things, really. Previous naming convention made sense to those that pay are into this stuff... but for average consumers, it could be confusing. We aim to make things easier for everyone!
@@furballbear we will see! The X90L is still a beast for it's tech, but the BRAVIA 7 definitely is a step up. It's good to have options for those that don't want to drop the $ for the upgrade.
No Sony still offers the Flagship Z9K 8K Mini LED model for those consumers who are looking for Higher Resolutions because that TV will have the XR Processor that will Upscale your content to 8K in this model.

1- Mini-LED are almost the same price as the W-OLED TVs and can produce more brightness, I mean way more. 2- X95L almost matched the quality and black levels of QD- A95L, while price difference was huge between them. 3- Mini-LED TVs costs less compared to OLED TVs. So more profit margins. 4- QD-OLED currently are limited to 77 inches max.
I wouldn't go that far... I don't exactly read tea leaves, but if you look at the specs of our new mastering monitor the BVM-HX3110 (which was sort of the basis of the BRAVIA 9 tech), I think the future may tell a different story. We will see.

Are you referring to the Prime Calibrated mode? Movies, shows, and even live sports the way the filmmakers and broadcasters intended. With Prime Video Calibrated Mode, picture settings are auto calibrated to what you’re watching including live sports for studio-quality Prime Video at home. Also, you are able to skip chapters if you want to skip straight to the audio systems.
Soon as i bought sony bravia tv,fly get into my screen.Now i cant watch tv properly and sony dont want to clean it under warranty! Be aware of sony..The picture is not good at all either.Dont buy sony!

@@DerekFromSony Yes,i contacted sony europe,in my country where i live.First,they dont have service shop in my city( my city is about 600 000 peoples by the way) second,they told me that insects are not included in the warranty.So,they have to drive my tv to town 250 km away with van and i have to wait for about 2 weeks.But once again not under warranty.Obviously,sony think its my faulf because insects coming inside my tv! I have many tvs in my life,the last one was philips for 10 years,and i never get any insect ever,only in sony tv.
@@JasZg Wow, I am sorry to hear about all that. That is a unique and very inconvenient situation. This is a very uncommon experience, I've never heard it regarding a Sony TV in my time here. I am sorry to hear this happened.
