I had the sony a6000 for 2 years and loved it! But now I bought a Sony a6300 (you can pick buy one used for 500€) and it is defenititive better for myself. 120fps, picture profiles, microphone output. So for filmmaker who shoot something like travel videos, commercials, music videos, short films is the a6300 better. But everyone who just shoots photos and simple youtube videos should buy the the a6000.
I have a6000 and bought sigma16mm f1.4 recently... picture quality is jus mindblowing... everything a beginner photographer (for nature, landscape, indoor) can ask for
Sony A6000 is still my best travel camera for photo's. I even shot my brother's wedding with it in Indonesia! For video it can be pretty good as well if you know what to do with it. Keep it up!
Thank you. That has answered my question as to whether I should upgrade to the A6300. I like the sound of the Sigma 16mm f1.4. So, new lens, not body. 😊
I've been using the a6000 for underwater photography for five years now. I've found a really good deal on an a6300 with 1650 kit lens and 50mmf1.8 lens locally and will buy that soon. I would have been happy with an a6100 but this deal is great. Reason for upgrading from the a6000 is the small fact that once the on board flash is popped, flash can not be turned off on the a6000. When diving there are occasions where I want to change from using strobes to ambient light and some functions are unavailable with the flash popped. You would think Sony could make a software upgrade for the a6000 but no. The 1080 120fpm video will also be handy for slow motion.
I love my a6300. I want to upgrade to the a7iii but im pretty sure im not going to. I have no reason to. I am a beginning wildlife photographer and i want to invest in the sony 200-600mm and just a 85mm. One thing i want sony to do is gives us a6300 users a firmware update for the a6300. Im hoping but im pretty sure they will not give us a update. Anyway, love the video. Keep em coming .
Great video, for those that don't need 4K, the Sony a6000 is still a great choice. Hey congrats on your daughter, welcome to "being a broke dad for the next 18 years :) "
Good day my lovely Mr. Jason! Sony a6000 it's very good camera indeed, most especially as you have mentioned about upgrading your lenses, that's where you convinced me that you are a pro. I have a6000 with 18-200mm oss sel and 50mm and it has been so wonderful both in video and photo it's excellent camera. I shoot my video in XAVC'S codec and import it in 4k mode, now, bring Panasonic gh5 and compare it if you will know the difference.
Hey. I want to buy 6300 and 85 mm 1.8.. But 6000 also great camera i don't know.. What i must buy for street fashion and portraits... Can i use 6000 ? What are you thinking about 6000+85mm 1.8
i am looking to buy my first camera for automotive photography and i don’t know if i should buy the a6000 or a6300. I would pair it with the sigma 30mm f1.4
Thinking about buying some small yet capable camera for travelling and capturing some photos/videos along the way. Sony a6000 seems sufficient! I already own GH5, but it's pretty large and I own mostly Rokinon cine lenses, so no way I would carry all of that around haha. Also, I would like to get some zoom lens for a6000...any suggestions? Great video by the way!
I recently discovered your beautiful channel, my question is: for the same price, better a 6000 under warranty or a 6300 out of warranty but well kept?
Nice video! I’ve decided to buy the A6000... but defo need one lens should I go with the Sigma 30 or 16 mm? Both are f1.4.. I shoot portraits landscapes and street photography 😅 thanks 🙏
For portraits and street photography, the 30mm would work well as it is equivalent to a close 50mm lens with the crop factor. 45mm to be exact. the 16mm would be great for landscapes or vlogging
I had the 30mm myself for street photography. It depends which style of street shooting. If u shoot mainly street portraits it is ok. But for myself it is too close. I like to have also architecture and the enviroment in my photos. And I had also a 16mm lens and it was defenetive too wide. So if u shoot a lot in the streets I wouldnt go with that. But for Landscape it is a really good choice
Hi, I just purchased a used Sony a 6300 for my wife new beauty talking head RU-vid channel! What prime lens do you recommend for a talking head video also do you recommend any canon prime Lens that works well with the Sony a 6300?
Jaaaaaaaase , any advantage of having 4k when you upload to Instagram?? Can you get any better quality or any other advantages with 4k , if you have to go through their compression 🤔🤔??
4k or 1080 won't make a difference for instagram. if anything 1080 and exporting perfectly for instagram will most likely be better with less compression
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema yeah you would have to downscale . I was in camera shop today and the guy ins tore had mentioned he thought you get sharper clarity when you film in 4k and then donwnscale to 720or 1080 to upload to insta
I’ve got a Sony A6000 and the A6400 I actually prefer my tried trusted A6000 to be honest, obviously the A6400 has more functionality but the A6000 was years ahead of its time when it was released back in 2014. What’s good about the Sony Alpha series is the lenses both Sony and the official lens that Sony approve eg Sigma , Tamron etc I’ve found as long as you keep up to date with the updates and have a varied selection of lenses you cannot go wrong with the Sony A6000
Hi @jason morris,im new here in your channel....i have this camera sony a 6300, what lenses is the best to be use in newborn photography?wedding event?and even portraits?..all around lens...😁 Hope to hear from u...thank u ..
Do they have the same body??? I wanna buy camera skin for my a6000 but it's not available . So I was thinking to buy a6300 , but I don't know if der bodies are exactly same or not. Someone pls help?
This is what I’m interested in , I did have a canon 5D mk ii and used it for some evening football at iso 6400 , will the Sony A6000 give good iso at 6400
They cost almost the same where i live and i already own a6300. Have been playing with a6000 and it is not bad for entry level, but i think that you can get much better camera for that kind of money. I could buy GH4 for price of a6000 or that a5100 junk that i already own.
