It really depends on how far you want to go for it. For the price, the camera is amazing, 4k downsampled from 6k sensor, the image is very sharp even when I crop it for tik tok videos, good S-Log2 Profile, very good autofocus, also good for photography. It's great in low light with a good lens and standard profiles. Battery life is short, you can solve this by using a grip. It overheats in 4k after 30-50 mins or in really high temperature conditions, can't rotate the screen like on newer cameras, can't record 4k 60fps, only up to 30fps I think. But AGAIN for the price it's a great camera, there's no way around it, as long as you understand it's limitations and play around them you're good. I used it for 4 years and then I got the a7III. I still use it today for some reels/tik toks. It totally better than a6000, but I bet you can make great videos with a6000 as well, it's mostly about skills.

I did try make video with my a6000, but it just not give me much flexibilty for color grading and the low light performance its not really good, and how does the a6300 perform? Is it comparable with a7iii? especially the color science, cuz the price difference is quite large

@@mariel9557 Color science is better on a7III, still a 8 bit camera, but it has improved color science. If you have the budget for one and for a full frame lens, you can go for it. Otherwise, you could get the a6400 which has the same color science as a7III and offers you HLG color profile which is pretty good. But if you're tight on a budget, go for a6300 and use slog-2.

@@patrichegeorge96 yeah im really tight on a budget but want a 4k camera with a pretty decent color, i got some offer to trade my a6k on 9k shuttercount, with a6300 on 50k shuttercount, both mine and a6300 physically still good but I have to add an extra 80 usd to get the a6300. Is it a good trade? And does shuttercount really matter?

@@mariel9557 It's a good trade, 50k is still a good number and you'll get to use the camera for quite a long time. Just make sure you test the camera so that everything works fine.
