I just love the way the lumix g95 feels and the buttons are great . Fun camera to use . The others feel so cramped

Weathersealing is all about snow up in the north. The G95 comes with a very good weather sealed kit lens 12-60mm, so it’s my choice.

i have been viewing a lot of video reviews lately and I have to say... dude you are a KICK ASS on screen talent! Perfect fast pace, very informative, with truly laugh out loud original humor! So fun to watch and I never once felt like you were wasting my time. Keep up the great work you are going places! I predict your viewership is about to skyrocket!

Excellent comparison. Five years later, in 2024, I am looking to get the Panasonic G90/G95. It perfectly suits my needs and I already have MFT lenses.

Great video! I love your style! One other criterion I think is well worth discussing is stabilization. The G95 has 5-axis in-body stabilization, and works together with the lens stabilization of Panny's OIS lenses for what they call Dual I.S. And those OIS lenses include their kit lenses! Great for shaky hands or for when you just need a longer shutter speed because you're losing light at the end of the day. 4 to 5 stops--that's nothing to sneeze at! While you can get stabilized lenses for the other 2 systems, those two bodies have no stabilization! Fuji's latest flagship model body (maybe some other Fuji models, too; I don't know) has IBIS, but I don't want to have to take out a second mortgage to buy one.
@vintageswiss9096
@vintageswiss9096 Год назад
Checking in 3 years later in 2023: Sony a6400 is still $900, Fuji X-T30 is $750 for body only, and the g95 is down to $650 new for the lens kit. If you bought in 2020, the Sony held its value much better for its owners. Conversely, if you are buying in 2023, it's the g95, hands down. Use the $250 in savings for lenses.

g95 appears to be the win. That funky sony menu systems is like something from the 90's. Panasonic has more on body controls over the Sony.

You're AWESOME. Even if I didn't care about cameras, this would still be good. I wish I could present like this! "off the hook dude!". I'm comparing the G85 to stuff, and the little Panasonics keep winning for my needs - Vlogging, Filming, some photos.

fuji lenses ...yes not much of them has OIS, cost A LOT (this same like FF lenses, but in sony you can upgrade your set to FF and you don't have to change lenses, hard to buy from second hand and no one want make lenses for them (I think about tamron and sigma)

Thumbs up yo....the XT30 will be needing more props for a video I guess, n I guess the G95 will be better??
@barrongaillard9623
@barrongaillard9623 5 лет назад
The G95 is better for self contained video shooting. You can keep it relatively small and inconspicuous while still having a relatively stable platform due to the stabilized sensor. Continue being awesome!🤘

@@barrongaillard9623 is it a better choice than the XT3?
@barrongaillard9623
@barrongaillard9623 5 лет назад
If you don't need a stabilized sensor the X-t3 is better. If you check Adorama and B&H right now the Fujifilm X-H1 is on sale for $1000! That makes it the best deal because it has decent autofocus ( not as good as the X-T30 but WAY better than the G95) and a stabilized sensor! It also has 10bit color and a log profile!

I do like Fuji but I don't own one. I'm actually going to buy an A6400 because I already have a bunch of lenses for the E mount. I primarily shoot everything ( including some photos) with my Gh5. And any autofocus is better than Panasonics!

I don't see investing another dime in M4/3rd at this time. I have a legacy new old stock GH1 body I paid 110 for with an OLY 14-42 and a slew of legacy lenses and adapters. I use a weighted gimble with it. Outside of the aggravating 2.5mm mic jack (I found a great right angle 2.5 male to 3.5 female adapter on Amazon for 6 bux), I use a Zoom H5 with its headphone monitoring and line out jacks for superior post audio. It's only 1080p BUT the colors are still better than what I've seen on GH2s, 3s, and even GH4's straight out of the camera. My point?. There's no reason to spend more than 700 bux (G85( on M4/3rd OR even APS-C now. You can find gently used Sony A7 and A7s for less money and with an external Atomos recorder, pull 4k FULL-FRAME video out of the HDMI jack. The A7ii series had horrific battery life, which a firmware upgrade fixed in the A7iiis. OR you can use an external battery/battery eliminator. My point is, NONE of these cameras in the review are worth the money you pay for them. B cams at best. Overindulged point-and-shoots....Go full frame, buy a gimble, learn to use it, and get used to the extra weight. I mean, if you want compact, for video, just buy a Hero 7 Black and a stick to hold it. "Diners, Dives, and Drive-Ins" use them to record their shows for The Food Network. Olympus stubbornly stuck with M4/3rd until they had to sell the camera division. AND they were superior to Panasonic in every way except price and video. Adapters be damned, outside of using some tiny legacy stuff for the effect, why not just use a Legacy 35mm lens on a Full-Frame Camera?.
@barrongaillard9623
@barrongaillard9623 4 года назад
I get what you're saying Bryan. And although your point of view is common, it's not universal. I, and many other professionals, use M4/3rd cameras for stills and video. There are also plenty of people (including myself) who would not consider a full-frame camera an upgrade but just a different camera with different characteristics (and larger, heavier lenses). I do agree that these cameras would make decent B cams depending on the project. But they would also make good A cams for certain projects as well. Your comment about using the GoPro for a food network show reinforces my point. Use the camera that gets you the results you want. It sounds like you enjoy the full frame look so it makes sense that you would gravitate to those cameras over these. Thanks for watching! Continue being awesome!
