It can web stream in 4k 30fps now, it couldn’t do that before, now it can also livestream without being attached to another computer via wire, but I haven’t been able to get that to work yet.
I honestly think I'm going to switch to Nikon, this is one of the most disappointing a firmware I never saw, how a company can deliver something so garbage like that and seeing people will be happy????
Technically, they owe you nothing.You have bought a camera with a working firmware, why would you expect new functions implemented for free? Please switch to Nikon, they will certainly deliver what you are looking for 😏
@@JeanV1986 Yea honestly, I don't get their line of thinking on this. People just want an A7RIV or some other model for free through updates. The camera has the same feature set as when you bought it. Firmware is mainly for minor improvements and bug fixes. You're not gonna get AI autofocus, etc like other newer models 🤷♂

I have Neewer and they worked fine with firmware 1.11. Now with firmware 3.01 after 30-40 seconds after switching on a warning pops up, and the display of the charge level in percent disappears. And the camera can turn off without saving the recording at any time, even when the battery icon shows 2 stripes

all the other brands bringing essential features to their camera with their updates but sony only brings useless things, ho is possible that a7 iv dosent support custom luts yet?
Sony firmware ver.3.0. Unnecessary update, no point uploading. It doesn't solve anything important, just a stupid app. Focusing is still bad. Sony is starting to piss me off a lot. Sony doesn't care about customers, they don't do anything important to their products. Only for the most expensive products.
3:34 Are you still using the 3rd party battery or not? because the percentage showed up on the screen and i hope sony put 240 fps for Full HD but that's was impossible
Hola tengo ( o tenía) una a7IV, al actualizarla del 3.01 al 3.02 de la manera recomendada, la cámara dejó de prender , ahora la a7IV no arranca ni presionando el obturador 30 seg , ni con ninguno de los pasos recomendados por Sony, leído que el arreglo cuesta algo mas de 500 dólares por un problema que me parece es de Sony.
This usually happens if you bought an illegal refurbished one with a bloody hacked region and crookedly installed languages. Such a camera should not be updated under any circumstances.
Touch focus is OK but focus bracketing is much quicker and involves less interaction with the camera so less chance of moving the camera if say its in a precarious position. Other cameras in this price range have it so I think sony should in my opinion.
