I really really hope Sony brings the custom focus areas over to other cameras but i honestly lost hope for Sony looking how they often dont properly update other models
This rev is cool,I really want to see some other things like,af system with sigma art lenses,do the keep up with the 120 frames ore not in AFC,also some comparing noize files for us to download , from 2000 and above to 12800 ore more,another thing about AFC,how can he handel low contrast situations in pitch darkness,response time on af in this situation with recorded evf, take it out for a spin, 1.4 lens full power flash 1/80000 ,do we get enough flash duration for lets say a 2.8 shot to correctly expose with an ad600?
A9iii is good for wild life and sports, but 24.6 Map is not enough to shoot small subjects like birds. Only option is we have to be close enough to the subject to avoid crop.

I am returning mine after 5 days of use ! this camera is definitely not for flash photography/ studio ! first of all shutter speed goes at max at 16000 shutter speed at multiple mode shoot only. 80000 shutter speed is only in single mode shoot! color shits are all along those variable speeds you need to sync flash manually in order to shoot with variable shutter speed,and it's time consuming, and i suspect that its still not accurate and it might be the reason for power color shits strength light intensity inaccuracy .Another issue is the noise and Aperture change at values like f8 noise is so big and noticeable that it makes picture not usable bottom line its a real downer on photography side but videography is definitely a big high
