This video is for Canada.
If you are trying to connect your Sony Bravia internet tv to the internet and it keeps failing, it could be because you are subscribed to Telus for your internet service, and they have given you an Actiontec router model # V1000H or R1000H. To get connected to the internet with either of these routers you need to set manual IP address's in your tv's network settings. This video will show you how to use these manual IP address's to get your Sony Bravia connected to the internet.

Hi there thank you for the video. I have a Sony bravia 2011 module and I was able to connect to wifi via bravia compatible USB. Now the issues even though I have connect to the internet, I am unable to do the "Refresh internet content". It says the system has encountered an error . Please try again later. If the problem persists, contact Sony . Please help

El problema que creo que es es que Sony antes del 2019 tenía un contrato de navegación a la web con una empresa y apartir de 2019 ya no se pudo navegar para estos modelos de tvs

Try software updates every time you can. Once there is no software update the tv will be useless

+Daniel Raymond The only thing I can suggest after a hard reset is do the auto set up. After it is connected view your network status on the tv and write down your IP address subnet mask and Default gateway. Then when doing the manual set up for the internet like in this video. Put in that IP address and Subnet mask and Default gateway and for PRIMARY DNS put in 8.8.8.8 and secondary DNS put in 8.8.4.4 .

Mintnight agreed. that TV smart features are really dumb now. you are better off getting a chrome cast or roku and using that with hdmi to the TV.
