@@slayerfog Probably tons of people - it's a generational leap in their Mini LED tech...but they aren't holding back sized to force people to spend more. Manufacturing? Shipping? Logistics? Local regulations?
Thank you PorshaHome Theater for placing your order with us! You will LOVE Sony's new flagship BRAVIA 9 QD MiniLED with all of the new picture quality enhancements that are exclusive to this TV. The BRAVIA 9 perfectly match Sony's new Reference Mastering Monitor, BVM-HX3110 that Hollywood studios and post production companies use to master the much of the new 4K HDR content.
Derek, I need you to visit Michigan and come to my Best Buy store with Mark and Miguel to tell me to buy this TV. This is becoming more enticing each and every new video I watch
Looks incredible! Cant wait to get the bravia 9. So happy to hear Downtown Binary got some love at 4:30 onwards in terms of the music! They make great synthwave music!
I hope you can see it in person, it definitely is incredible! PS - I'll let my editor know about the music feedback, hopefully you'll hear them again in future videos!
Okay, the Sony Bravia XR A80L was released along with the rest of the Sony 2023 television in May 2023, which I bought. It's now May 2024, and the 2024 Sony Bravia line of televisions are being released. The Bravia 9 is being called the flagship, so far, for 2024, but nowhere near the cost of the Sony Bravia XR A95L OLED that released later in October 2023. It was the Sony brand 2023 flagship. For some reason, I believe that there will be a successor to the Sony Bravia A95L OLED to release later this year called the Sony Bravia 10 or Sony Bravia X.
@M.W.H. I love it. Best television I've ever owned. I WBD with the 65" for the bedroom. I have a Sony 75" Bravia LED in the living room just a few years old, and when comparing the two, I could definitely see the difference in how the A80L OLED was much better. I'm wanting to purchase the Sony Bravia 77" A95L OLED for my living room, but I'm a little conflicted because I don't want to purchase it and just months away, Sony does release a successor to that A95L OLED. I would want the latest and greatest. So, I'm at odds with should I just buy the A95L or wait out the 5 months until October.
@@earnestedwards673 I love to hear the love! We appreciate you! I wish I could offer advice... but I've none to really share on what the future holds! I have no idea what the plan is yet.
I'm debating between Bravia 7 and Bravia 9 because the price difference is big Can you explain the differences between them and whether the price difference is worth the investment. I mainly watch football in a lighted room. Today I have a Sony OLED TV and it has problems with burning pixels, so I want to switch to a TV with mini LED technology thanks
Hey Sony, fix Dolby Vision and other issues on the A95L. This is your top of the line TV that people paid thousands of dollars for and you refuse to fix it. Fix it.
Voice Zoom 3 sounds very interesting, Maybe we don't have to battle the volume up and down buttons anymore while watching a movie. Movie studios need to tone it down, They make the action scenes deafening and then the dialogue is barely audible even through centre speaker. Most people can't crank the volume up in their neighbourhood the way these sound engineers think we should hear it!
SHOULD HAVE MADE A 55 INCH...AND I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT IT TOMORROW...TRYING TO UPGRADE FROM MY SONY 55 X930E WHICH WAS A FLAGSHIP AT THE TIME IN 2017...GUESS I'LL HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE BRAVIA 10 OR 11....#WENEED55INCHFLAGSHIPS #SPACECONSTRAINTS #BETTERPIXELDENSITY
@@DerekFromSony appreciate it my man..not expecting it to be for the Bravia 9...But you better believe that it is costing them a crapload of sales..I'm not settling for the mid-tier Bravia 7..Nor will anyone else..Especially While other Vendors like LG make the 55 inch G4 for this year..I really want to stick with Sony because it is superior..By the time 8K is mainstream in 3-4 years with the PS6 and Next Gen Xbox you better believe I want a top tier 8K Bravia to go along with it..But if they don't offer a top tier 55 inch size I will switch over to the competition because I don't have a choice at all
Really how do you post this without it being in HDR!!!!!! Look I get having two versions on non hdr and another in sdr but either way this needs to happen.
Please can we get update for A95K for freezing...When it freezes we can only unplug it from power supply and that is not most happies solution.I'm in wheelchair ♿ ♿ and can get to the back of the tv and thats is a big problem....
Can you put it on a smart plug or power strip? That way you could reset it from your phone. I know it’s not ideal but certainly the easiest way to power cycle it.
55" for EU 🤷 Other brands will quickly and easily overtake Sony and offer a 55". I used to like Sony and some of them had good products for the money, but those days are over.
@@level80888NAH THIS WILL BE TV OF THE YEAR...OLED TECH LIMITATIONS ARE ON THE WAY OUT...NOTICE HOW ALL FLAGSHIPS THIS YEAR ARE MINI LED...EXCEPT LG OF COURSE...THEIR LED/LCD TECH ISN'T EVEN CLOSE TO THIS
You know what I love? That you found your TV tech. I can't argue with what you like! I am an OLED fan and still rock my A1E... however, this TV is calling my name pretty loudly. Plus... we still have OLEDs, so we are all good.
What is expected is that the images and footages should come alive . A 70 mm cinematic viewing experience surrounded with every single minute details .will have to see a demo .
The increase in picture performance for color and brightness definitely makes everything come alive. We are steadily approaching what we can perceive with the human eye!
There's no way the bezels will be that thin as shown in the video. False advertising. You couldn't even turn the tv on for the video Sony? Really? Lol!
I hope you have a chance to see one in person. Sizes aren't always perceived as accurately through video. Sure, we could have turned on the TV, but for video purposes, it wouldn't be the best choice. Thank you for your comment!
Your opinions are worthless. They offer nothing productive. Don’t give any credit. It’s just a blanket statement with no substance. Pretty much as useless as trying to water the ocean with a spray bottle of water.
Do you also complain that a BMW or Mercedes is too expensive? Or maybe you also think Rolex should drop their prices? @@thierryk5381 maybe you have not heard of a concept called "premiumization". When a brand goes up market to avoid having to compete in a race to the bottom. And it's what any brand that wants to have brand equity eventually does. Sony is a premium brand. That's just the way it is. If your broke ass can't afford it then move along. Nothing here for you to see.
I'm sorry to hear you had an issue. I do hope you had reached out to support. I won't lie, no technology, or anything produced en masse can be 100% flawless. It is uncommon. I also know it doesn't help to hear that. But I understand that it's frustrating when it happens.
@@DerekFromSony yup…we have 3 Sony TV, same thing happened…after 3 years, lines all over the place…its just frustrating since we buy a high end tv, and i am expecting a high quality…
@@marsh6676 That is frustrating. I can't explain how that could happen repeatedly. And, you should expect high quality from Sony. I hope you had reached out to Sony Support to report the issues.
I am officially boycotting 100% of Sony products. The actions against gamers recently are at Microsoft levels. I am done with this company until there are changes.
Please release (Bravia 9) worldwide as soon as possible otherwise I will be looking for an alternative discounted or 2025 TV models I hope Bravia 9 can deliver outstanding picture quality in game mode without black crush, blooming is fine
I think you would be very surprised with the BRAVIA 9's performance. One of the directions that Sony takes is accurate processing to maintain the creator's intent... that includes gaming. We do our best to minimize any blooming (which the BRAVIA 9 does exceedingly well), but we don't crush black to reduce blooming. Crushing black takes out subtle detail... that is the opposite of creator intent.
I just don't understand the energy savings claims. The Energy Guide sticker for a XR-75X93L says it uses 467 kWhr per year and the sticker for the K-75XR90 says it uses 724 kWhr per year. Where's the savings?!?
I'm throwing money at the screen reading your comment, I'd buy it tomorrow. I don't want OLED for my next monitor, The way I use it would get burn in even if I baby sit the screen.
@@DerekFromSony thanks Derek for responding. From what im aware, the display panel using for 85” model (x95K & x95L) is different vs ones using for 65” & 75”. So for the 2024 Bravia 9, does Sony use the same display panels across all the size?
@@quyminh8959 From what I understand it is the same panel across all sizes. Of course, there are performance differences within the backlight to compensate for the size differences.
