Hi there all. The solution working offcourse, but the actual problem / in my case and i thing in the most caces/ is that one ore few LEDs are dead. You can use that methot, but it's good to check the LEDs.. Thank you. Sorry for the bad English
The sony logo on my flashes quickly at the same time the right hand side of the screen flashes then the screen goes blank. The white led at bottom illuminates and then the red led flashes 6 times. Is this a led problem?

Hello. I have a kd60x690e that has the 6 blinking light problem. It works perfectly after unplugging for a few hours but if you keep it plugged in after turned off for a few hours. 6 blinking lights occur. I took it apart and tested the backlights, all seem to light up fully. Any idea what board I would need to replace or if I could solder/fix it? Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks in advanced!!!
@SleelS No I traded it for a working 60 inch sony 3d tv, then sold that for $400 and bought a LG 65gx. Never had so much trouble with any other tv than the kd60x690e. Replaced everything except the panel and same issue, so guessing it was something with the panel

Where r u put up... I am having a same issue but in sony center told its a panel issue... And its cost is 10000+ which I denied to repair by them... So that is why I want u to repair my LCD if its possible... My LED model is BX 300 Sony
hi sir. nice video. i have sony kdl40w600b. it blink 6times because the backlight is faulty. i change the backlight all new and it still blink 6 times. i check pin 1(vcc) of bd9397 and there is no voltage. i remove the bd9397 and i want to replace with external backlight driver but 6 times blinking is still there. can u please advise how to turn off this 6 times blinking so that i can connect the external backlight driver.
Sir , I'm facing the same problem .. but when I called the service centre to repair it they told me that the TV's back light (tube) were not functional and that it would cost me approx 22k for the whole display ... Any suggestions sir ?
22k...That's a new car. 2k...that's a new display. Honestly though, 2k for a display is not cost efficient. I would mod/hack it if you have the skill. If not, better to just replace the entire unit with a new tv.

I also have the same problem ...and i understand the problem comes out of a dead led backlight means changing the led backlight will solve the problem but it costing me alot and the other method he (technician) says will be temporary the tv might run for few months or a year ? I dont know which method he is using, I saw many videos on youtube one of the method which works by sorting the 5 points ? Is that the temporary method? And which method u used csn u tel me i will ask him to do the same..
Bro I have same 6 times red light blinking. But the sony authorised repairing people are saying repair would need multiple part replacement costing around 20k rupees. I can easily buy a new one in 40k rupees 😢😢.
Hi, Could you please guide us. I have a 32 inch Sony LED TV, Model Name: KLV-32R482B A month back we had Red light blinking issues and we called a Technician to fix it. He said it was a backlight issue and fixed it. After some days, we again faced the issue. He took TV again and kept it running for a day and said no such issues occured to him. We asked him to change TV adaptor. He gave us his adaptor. The TV again ran smooth for a few days but we have the issue again with red light blinking 6 times. We have changed backlight/adaptor. What might be causing the issue again?
I have a sony with 6 red flashes in my case tv turns on them turns off without the sony logo. however I know the led lights works because I tested. I notice a very small crack in the screen (a kid hit it with a toy) since that time the problem start. so I may probably need a new screen or a NEW TV depends the cost. hope this help.
Please set the subtitles in Spanish, only English subtitles are output. I and other colleagues want to subscribe to your channel but the Spanish subtitles do not appear.
