Though I havent exprienced, It's amazing invention by sony giving the top celing sound effects virtually only with just with of 4.1 speakers. This system set up purely specially created for the 65,75 n 85 inches Oled/mini led sony Tv owner's a treat indeed
Hi @tanmayMehta 4:14 on which platform you are getting Dolby 7.1 ch Audio? I have Bravia Quad , getting Both Dolby Atmos and Dolby 5.1. But not Dolby 7.1 . Just curious to know.
Hi Tanmay, was waiting for this review, but you did not address one point how is the center audio without Bravia TV? previous model was criticized for the same, did Sony address that issue? how is center compared to physical channel>?
Even Bose Soundbar 700 with bass module and jewel surround speakers are completely wireless which released in market more than 5 years back. So what new thing Sony is bringing here ?
That’s a soundbar, which like Bose tonnes of other brands have including Sony. But this gives a freedom to extend the front soundstage due to separate speakers!
HT wale bhaiya 🙏 Can it give real sound of Dolby Atmos ?? Can I feel hear the sound of rain , aircraft’s etc coming from ceiling ?? Or it’s a mere gimmick especially on this part Thanks
HI Tanmay - I am planning to get a 5.1.2 setup done (klipsch reference theatre with 2 atmos ceiling speakers). Would this be a better alternative instead of the wired system? My viewing distance is 12ft and purely using it with TV in living room.
Hi , I am planning to get a 5.1.2 setup done Klipsch Reference Theatre with 2 Atmos side wall Elevated Speakers & Denon X3800 AVR. Would this be a better alternative instead of the wired system? My viewing distance is around 12ft and will be using it with Sony TV XR77A80Lin living room.

Hi Tanmay ! I’ve traditional 5.1.2 setup, denon x2300w , klipsch 140sa atmos, dali zensor 5.1 from long time, I tried everything keeping klipsch atmos 140sa on front speakers & even hang them on height on my wall but never experienced atmos effect, I don’t know where I did wrong, now I want to upgrade to Bravia quad for atmos experience, will it work for me ? My listening distance is 12 feet from screen in bedroom
Hey Bhupinder, i think you should avail our virtual calibration service before opting for it. Coz wired setup needs to work better and we need to check the placement and calibration before commenting on improving the same!
I just experienced this product in dlf mall in noida and it truely blows the mind, i was veey disappointed wirh ht a9 not due to the product but service related issues, the main controller was not touched at all which sony should have done could have inctesws one more hdmi port or just increased the size 😂😂 Other the speakers and driver amazing very amazing eve with out calibration was able to impress me, @tanmay what calibration parameter would you recommend for placing the speakers, above tv below tv level or at tv level, also how can we connect the older sony speakers(same speakers which came in ht a9) separately and is Bravia tv necessary to experience more wider things??
@@TanmayMehta first of all, thanks for reviewing this product. Im sure you must have found it very difficult to get your hands on one. The quad is meant for a specific use case scenario i guess with its good app and “ 360 effects “ does the job but it’s expensive and they SHOULD have included a subwoofer. Wire less speakers are a rarity and not many manufacturers have been able to pull it off. Plus im sure it’s better than a sound bar. Please make another detailed video if you can on the product.
I don't know how you can make that comment unless you've tested it. I have the earlier version HT-A9 and it does deliver on the claims they make about the surround and Atmos sound as surprising as it was to me ....
Soundbars of Sony are pathetic. If you are a music lover than you don't like Sony sound bar. All bluetooth based soundbars are dropping connections with Subwoofers and rear speakers. I have proved to sony. Also see global review as well
