This is a really slick AAA quality promo video hope the channel does really well 👌💯🎥👀 😎🌟>> the Sony A80k is pretty breathtaking in all aspects >> the only drawback is motion handling (artefacts and judder) in panning scenes below 60fps >> I have clapped eyes on the 77" model and the picture quality was sensational 🌟🌠 I almost bought it there and then!
just purchased the XR-65A80K and did not realize that the XR-65A80CK had an upgraded remote. Any idea if and where that upgraded remote can be purchased?
For those asking between this tv and the C2, check out the reviews from Caleb, Quantum TV, HDTVTest, Classy Tech Calibrations and Stop the FOMO. Although these TVs are so close in some things, ALL those reviewers agree on one thing…. the C2 wins as the overall best TV. The A80K wins when watching low bit/compressed content (upscaling), sound, out of the box color accuracy, and Operating System. The C2 basically wins in everything else (peak brightness, motion processing, gaming options, ABL, price to performance ratio, etc… I myself have been goint back and forth between these two TVs and honestly I haven’t made up my mind as they both shine in their own categories. One thing I am certain: I’m going with the 77” size. We’ll see!
Will take the 80k above the C2 all day long. If you go to a store and check them, you will find out that the Sony beats the LG by miles. LG colors are turning like Samsung; they look really lit up but fake. The Sony image will be closest to reality. Also, the price of the Sony is around $600 less than the LG. Sound quality? Well, there's only one winner: the Sony.
Hey,great video like always.I got a huge issue about this TV.When am turning it off with remoute then it turns on sometime automatically, after few minutes or few hours or next day. Please can you help me ? I bought this TV two days ago,if the issue can't be fixed so am gonna send it back
The only problem I have with this tv, is the one inch black bar at the bottom of the tv right on top of the bezel and I see that yours has it too, haven’t found anyway to get rid of it. But other than that it’s awesome. I play God of War, Outriders, Horizon Zero Dawn, just to name a few but mines thru a pc that’s connected to the tv. Just bought mine a little over a week ago from Costco which came with a better remote and warranty than Best Buy.
Can you explain the difference between the warranties from Best Buy and Costco? I am planning on buying the A80K but don’t know where should I buy from in regards to warranty. Thanks in advance!
@@Silentstroke Costco gives you a 5 year warranty, Best Buy only 1 year unless you buy the extended warranty, also the one from Costco comes with a backlit remote, Best Buy does not. You’re going to love this tv, I got mine from Costco.
@@k8jun1 Thanks for the info! It definitely looks like the better deal. I did some research and it also comes out at a lower cost and 90-day return instead of Best Buy’s 15-day. Will probably buy it this weekend. Can’t wait!
I heard the “auto hdr tone mapping” ps5 feature Unieque to Sony TVs is actually more than auto calibration - that it’s actually more like Sonys version of dolby vision, providing frame by frame enhancements in game. Can anyone confirm this ? If this is true I’m getting the a80k bec Sony are jerks and limit this to their sets . If not I’m getting the lg c2
I have the PS5 with the A80CK from Costco and it looks Amazing I feel like I don’t have to set it to anything I just leave what the PS5 recommends with the TV and I also have there New HDMI 10ft 8k 60 and 4k 120hz cord from PlayStation and to me games and movies look Amazing
@@ktmracing3135 got the c2 . It’s amazing . Just do it. I doesn’t 1300 plus 300 for bb 5 year. It just went up to 1400 tho. New c3 is around the corner but will be more . One piece of advice - don’t put OLED in direct sunlight , I didn’t damage mine , but it was in sun for a few hours before I knew this and it pissed me off . So I thought I’d let you know in advance haha. Also , the Sony auto mapping is not line domby vison at all - it’s static and not that important. Lastly - all the talk of these TVs not being bright enough is overblown in my opinion . Even during the day , the brightness is more than enough and I don’t put it on max - unless you have insane sunlight with no blinds , it’s totally fine . Only issue is SOME dolby vision movies get dim . But you should watch those at night . Been playing COD at 120hz and also watching a ton of Apple TV . Really incredible piece of tech . Good luck.
@@peopleperson7263 thanks! Quick question did you go into settings and turn “hdmi deep color” to 4k? Or did you leave that off? When I turn that on most my content is put through HDR.
Wrong! All A80K TVs have the same remote, as the A80CK control. Please do your homework. I can only assume that you got this confused with the A80J control. 👍
lg c2 is brighter than sony a80k let's hope that in the 2023 series sony will increase the brightness by contrasting the very bright lg C3 2023 cant wait to see sony 8 oled 2023 series if they will finally increase the brightness like other comepetitor see panasonic LZ1500 also has heatsink and in mZ series also have MLA technology force Sony
1080p smart tvs are wayy better quilty and better way to do gaming and movies i cant see why people should upgard there tv into 4k or 8k it waste of garbage money its just for stupid people who have stronger eyes to handle 4k quilty
