I think Philips is so much times better than Sony when we compare to Bass but I am disappointed about No Manual Bass and volume control button on subwoofer of Philips, but I am gonna buy Philips.

The set up is not good man.yu set the sony speakers consecutively in a row.so separation of sound is small.but in case of philips 5.1spa 8000b yu set the speakers(satellites)with a separation b/w atleast two speakers.so philips sounds great but is not a fair in setting.
