Thanks alot !! REALLY I had same exact problem I thought whatever will I will try 5$ fix before spending 150$ or throwing out to garbage... and it worked thats amazing !!! Much appreciated ;)

so.. i just broke my proximity sensor ribbon... no worries, hardly used the small viewfinder, but still kinda sad to see it broken. gotta get one somehow at some point in the future..

I opened my sony a77 after almost a year and it turned on then alpha logo showed and i had to set location and time zone , everything seems to be fine but after a few seconds it shut down and won't turn on,,i kept my camera without battery in a airtight box with some silica gel,, charged battery fully before using it,but it shut down and wont turning on,,when i turn on switch some red light is popping beside card slot and there is no information in display,,what could be the problem?
