I listened with my Air Pods Pro and although the Sony B10 was a little better sounding, I don’t think it’s worth five times the cost of the Diety. However, the ease and convenience of the S B10 could make it worth the extra cost for some folks. Lately, I’ve been using the on board mic of the Insta360 Ace Pro when vlogging, but only when it’s not too windy outside. Otherwise I use my wireless Tosicam Mailada. Nice comparison video Amy! 💜💜👍🏼💜💜
Hi! I'm a bit frustrated because I'm not getting the same results like you do 🙁(or like anyone else i've watched). This is my first Sony mic and I have it mounted on a ZV-E1 as well. The sound is way too different when comparing it to my A6400 + Rode VideoMicro. My old set-up sounds a lot better. It's picking up a lot of background noise to the point that the voices of the subjects sound faint. Do I need to change some settings on the camera/microphone? Or do you have any tips with the audio editing? (I use FCPX) Thanks! 😊
The mic once attached to the hot shoe of the camera takes over all of the mic settings in camera. Set it to automatic and put the directives toward where you are speaking from. The change the db to the middle setting and you should be good to go.
