Hi, thanks for commenting. Happy video can help. About the wind noise, without the deadcat isn’t bad if it’s not Too windy, but I would always carry it just in case. I really love it overall like you because of its size, so much so that I sold my ECM B1M. I’ve beginning to want to do more talking-head clip because of it.
Hi, thank you for your comment. The a7C has Gyro Data Stabilization which I used in all the parts where I moved. And with Sony Catalyst Browse software.
Hi, thanks for reaching out. Since it’s a super-cardioid, if you talk 5 feet behind the Sony ECM-G1 microphone, it probably won’t pick up your voice well because it’s made to capture sound from the front. Ambient noise it would be.
Hi thanks for your comment. The audio quality is good but not as good as say the ECM-B1M (I also have a video on that). But it’s (G1) compact and easy to travel with.
I have the ECM-B1M which the sound quality is superb and better than any external mic I have ever owned (my opinion). However it’s a bit clunky to carry around. The B10 is in between the B1 and G1 in size. But the sound quality is closer to the B1. So if I have to use one outdoor, I take G1. But if indoor, the B10 would be the choice.
I have a review on my B1, if you’re curious: Sony ECM-B1M Digital Shotgun Microphone Audio Test (on Sony A7C) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g3jPt89I6a4.html
Why would you not take the B10 outdoors?@@TossSong I would think it would work better with the NC and low pass filter. Also it would seem to do a better job isolating the sounds from directly in front of you?
