Great Job showcasing the potential of this lens. I had planned on picking this lens up with the Sony A7C! But I decided to wait for the A7IV, and will probably get this lens with that body.
@@MostafaNassar i have a 24mm gmaster a 35mm both very light strong but as you already say for traveling or generally filming in nice weather this zoom lens is perfect! if only this hobby wouldn't be so expensive😩
Great video! I am struggling so much, I got the 24-70 f/2.8 GM for the same price as the 24-105G OSS so now I have both. But I need to pick one to sell, what would be your advice? Love the flexibility of the 24-105
great point! However the thing that confuses me is the stabilisation of the 24-105 makes me unsure whether to choose the that lens over the 2.8 lens 28-75mm lens@@MostafaNassar
@@jamiemarsh1 it depends, if you usually plan your shot over a gimbal or a tripod, then the extra stop of light is a godsend. Try a run and gun setup with and without stabilization and see if this feature makes sense to you. I find myself using the 55mm 1.8f with no stabilization more often because I tend to shoot with dim lights very often (neons...etc)
@@MostafaNassar it was fine without a weight. The only thing is there is not enough room for the camera screen to flip up all the way when doing low shots but I made it work quite well. I need an external screen mount anyway off the gimbal for certain applications. The lense only cost about 1100 at the moment.
