Sony ICF-SW600 was manufactured in year 1996. The band selector switches was suffering a contacts problem and loose tuning knob. Fixed it this today and the receiver giving a very good performance. Regret that Sony no longer interested to produce shortwave radio and luckily Chinese company like Tecsun keep on producing superhet analog and digital shortwave receivers with affordable price to the high end all mode models.
