These are the best consumer Sony tvs you can get in Australia I have the 21inch model please keep this one you will not regret , worth restoring this rivals a low end pvm
As for convergence from the factory: I can confirm that all the Trinitron SFP tubes did that at the upper-left corner. Even my KV-30XBR910. Since then I got HS420, HS520, XS955, XBR800, etc and they all do it.
50 Hz is a no go for me. Due to the dark front glass, more energy is required for the same brightness. However, the decrease in brightness after electron shelling is a curve that falls more steeply at higher energy. That's why many customers have rightly complained that the dark tubes flicker more.
Saw one of these on Facebook marketplace and thought it was an aussie version of the sought after fv310... Was informed it isn't, just uses the same shell. Still... Looks like a decent performer!
this is the best sony tv in my country too , its look like the USA model FV310 , little better because its support 50/60hz 100-240v , the sound/bass is some deferent than any other TVs, the picture quality and sharp lines is amazing in this tv , there is a 25inch too , better than 20inch pvm in my opinion .
I don’t Really understand why Sony’s are so popular. No scart ports and the geometry on the flat ones is always horrible. This is one of the better ones and it can be RGB modded. I think they are popular purely because they are very common, you see them literally everywhere
