This is one of my current favourites. I really like the brushed metal look. I have two of the silver model. One is boxed with all the accessories and the other is my runaround one which I was using on the train today.
@@TechnicalInitiative I've got about 50. I have an MZ-1 in a presentation pack which came from Ford Motor Company. The case is emblazoned with the Ford logo and it has two pre-recorded demo discs and three still sealed 60 minute discs. It only works with pre-recorded discs, presumably because of a weak laser.
Hi....your videos are great....but I'm not that brave....I've had an mz-909 since new but it's finally given up on me....I purchased a beautiful blue one on eBay with the option return if it didn't record.have you any idea why when I plug in to record it says mic on the screen instead of line in? There is no sound through headphones while trying to record....any thoughts appreciated before I return it. Thank you. It plays perfectly with the usual fantastic sound quality.
Hello! This is very interesting since I can't replicate it. I tried it on an N910 and N920 - If I plug a mic into the Line In, it still just says "Record" but if I plug the mic into the Mic jack, the display updates to "mic". From what you were describing on Reddit, it sounds simple enough, so perhaps something is just wrong w/the unit. Though not all-metal, I think the MZ-R700 may be a good choice since it's got a nice form-factor and uses AA.
