STUNNING cinematography.Well done! I think I just made up my mind on buying the vg900 thanks to you. I've been shooting video with dslr for several years now (pros and cons - like everything), and will look forward to using a video camera again.
Hi there, thank u! The best way I would say is use Sony a mount lenses. Then you won't have the problem of switching the different lens. Because Sony a mount full frame lens. You can get beautiful depth of field and exact right focal length. Yea, this video was shot in APS-C mode. And for the "Ladders" moire. You can't actually fix that. It's the problem of the sensor. If you did not want to have moire, you might have to choose 5D Mark III. Because 5D Mark III doesn't have that problem at all :)
I purchased this camcorder. It would be amazing except for the bad aliasing / moire problem. It's bad in full frame and horrible in crop mode. Anything that can be done to correct this?
I'm never wrong... You weren't doubting me Joel, were you? These people are prob like who are these people and why are they conversing on our video!? Well Joel here is a very successful RU-vid man and if you don't already know who he is then I am dissapointed.
+Sheldon Norton What lens adapter did you buy? Cos some adapters are for crop sensor only. You need to make sure you are getting the EF to Full Frame e mount :) metabones.com/products/details/MB-EF-E-BT4
I have no clue what half of that stuff meant. I don't even think my camera can have a lens attached, if you want to know my deets its a Sony HDR-PJ200E so it's pretty basic, no interchangeable lens stuff and I got it with software for like 350 on big sale. Ziggy
