The fit was a dealbreaker for me. I went with the 720Ns originally and returned them just because I thought the XM4000 would be better. I was wrong; they wouldn’t stay on my head at the gym at all. The sound wasn’t much different either. Im definitely going back and picking up the 720Ns. For that price, they are a STEAL!
I had the Sony WH1000xm4s for about 3 years and they still working they are amazing 🤩 great sound and noise canceling impressive I like that I can adjust the eq settings on their Sony app
@@jithwheelsnot far better than the AirPods Pro. You definitely haven’t tried either. Only reason I would say xm5 is better than AirPods Pro is eq settings. It’s huge being able to control how your music sounds, but AirPod pros are better in every other way. I have both
My verdict: XM4s have their weaknesses, XM5s have their weaknesses, 720Ns are fine, and the 910Ns are absolutely perfect for my purposes. I managed to get a pair of refurbished 910Ns for 59 bucks, so that makes it a WAAAAY better value for me than Sony's flagship headphones.
I regularly watch your reviews and I love them. Just a small fan request if you would consider it. When you review headphones, particularly the ones that are bassy (900N and 910N for example), do also mention a little regarding their loudness levels (especially when you do comparisons because some like me care most about "which one is the loudest" ?). The reason why I am saying this is because I have an in ear earphone of SONY (XB55AP) and I love this earphone simply due to the fact that it can get super-loud. However, the previous earphone that I had purchased was a JBL one (100si if I remember the name correctly) and this earphone left a sour taste in my mouth. Not only was it not loud enough but soft dialogues in movies were also inaudible and that left me a bit wary of bassy earphones/headphones. I want to purchase Sony's extra bass headphone from 9x0 lineup but I don't know if they sound like XB55AP or 100si. Hence, a word or two about loudness level would be a huge help not that I'm saying that you completely overlook this detail, but especially when you compare SONY's lineup with each other, please do mention how they rank vis-a-vis their loudness levels.
720Ns are insanely good for the price! They even sound better than the X4s with the right EQ, obviously lack in the ANC department. Best bang for buck! Great for workouts as well.
910N all day long. I tried both these and the XM4 which my friend bought, and apart from the fact I cant tell a big difference in quality while the extra bass is super fun, the interesting difference I noted is in COMFORT. The 910ns are way more plush and deep. My ears touch the end of the cup while using the XM4s, while the 910N are simoly perfect. I would buy them over the XM4 even if they were more expensive
What makes people go for the Xm4 than Xb-910n? I’ve never really tried ANC so I don’t really care about it too much but other than better ANC on the xm4’s, what else makes it more appealing than the Xb-910n?
Once you are used to having ANC, it's a game changer. I wouldn't wanna miss it anymore. Also in more crowded places it's amazing how much sound they can keep out
it would be helpful if you could say, how well do the 910n's earcup and headband ages. I have seen some long term usage reviews on amazon and the cushions are really worn out within 1 year.
@@davidorlin3499 but I have seen some images which show wear and tear but the level of it is not expected from sony and atleast of a product which costs so much.
Bruh the sony naming scheme is so bad idk what headphones you’re talking about half the time, should’ve probably showed B-roll of the headphones with the name of them on the screen while you’re talking about them.
Bro, one genuine feedback... Your videos are excellent and detailed, but it is not for people who are looking to buy initally. The terminologies you use or way of testing is for people who are sound engineers or probably people who have been associated in music industry.
Thanks for the in-depth breakdown. A co-worker came to me asking for help finding a good pair of headphones. I know more about wired headphones, so this vid helped me out a lot. We ended up going with the XB cause they're on sale for 150$ rn, which made them a clear choice over the lower ier
Got the 910s for $120 last year on BF and couldn’t be happier i like the look of the xm4 better but comfort and bass was the deciding factor for me, noice canceling on planes has been great and call quality is also great I say for the money on sale these are the clear winner for now.
Great job at delivering your reviews, very thorough and informative. I do however find that at times you seemed to speak fast and that I had to use the captions to catch on. Also you used some terms that are not familiar to me like L-dec, cabin pressure etc (Tho I think these issues are only for me cause Im not a native English speaker & that Im not that knowledgeable in sound/music terms). Subbed btw
Hey bro how u doin wanna ask do you think sony will drop a new extra bass like the xb920 maybe soon because its sold out in all official and big stores in my country KSA really looking for your opinion on that , i really went for the wh-ch720 as soon as the distributor put it out for pre- order thanks for your reviews and so far i really loved them got it for 133$ now its official 125$ in KSA distributor , i mean for the price and the quality, sound, ANC, it’s perfect for me to be mentioned it’s my first ANC headphone never tried one before and not disappointed at all everything like you mentioned in the review and comparison. really thank you again for the content Keep up the good work
Is this XB910N the latest Medium Level Wireless Headphone from Sony?? Or Maybe Sony Make the Next Generation of it because I Never Hear about the Successor!! 💡🤔💡
aight I see nobody talking about this. the things is, I’ve recently ordered a pair of the 720n, right. And the anc button ain’t working at all n I’ve tried even resetting it to factory settings n still ,so if someone has or had this problem, please comment below 😭.
Dude I found a pair of Sony WH-1000XM2’s in a bin at the hostel I was working at. They work perfectly and have a lot of the features that the newer models have. The touchpad works perfectly and so does the mic. My only problem is the battery life but they still last over 24hrs so I’m not complaining at all. I’m totally in love with these headphones and will be purchasing another pair soon!!
Sony XM5 is the best with the most balance between them all. If you can do without extremely loud base but want anc so good that you csnt even hear a dog barking right in your face, go with Bose ultra.
Hi are the 720N’s a smaller fit than the XM4/5s at all? The XM4’s were too big for my head and would slide back and forth even in the default setting and not extended so I had to return them. Thanks
I've noticed this too, and I imagine the bass gets reduced so the headphones don't vibrate intensely at higher volumes. Newer headphones with all these ANC, Ambient Mode, and touch features probably have many internal components, so if the headphones vibrate too much, it might damage the components or misalign them.
i bought xb 910n and tried to use ldac with them but ldac option in my phone's setting is grayed out. I used ldac before with same phone. what can be the issue? Edit: i got it, multi device connect was on. Thanks for info bro 😊
Hey! How are the headphones, I'm thinking of buying them this week Do they have auto turn off? Or a light indicating whether the headphones are turned on or off?
Im about to buy XB910N or XB900N them but just before - anyone use them mainly at the gym or walking? how do they sound? I am a person who loves to listen to music really loud, i dont need huge bass. thanks for the answers!
The moment i got my wh ch720ns i had to return them the same day, i know its an over ear headphone thing but the audio leak was just too much… even below 50% the audio could be heard(i got my sister to wear them while i was in the opposite side of the room) Maybe its just because i like blasting music into my ears, i think ill stick to earbuds for music for now… i was sad returning them though because i think they look so cool! (I got the blue variant) If you like listening to music quietly then i would recommend this headphone, audio leak is just a deal breaker for me
I totally understand your point I had to return mine the same day, even at the 50 percent mark the audio was leaking and I was worried that if I wore them in a library it would be too much, what do you think about the wxm4
@@thatzaaji2569The xm5 are amazing they leak audio when u don't wear them and play sound that too like above 70 percent.Even if u put 100 volume and wear them the audio won't leak but pretty sure your ears gonna die 😅
After using AirPods Max and Sony wh 1000xm5 I really am starting to hate headphones, I listen to really bass-y music and would love something that delivers in that department without compromising the noise cancellation
