I would love to see one of these lens comparison/review videos done in indoor lighting! I've been doing SO many indoor session (specifically in-home) lately because the Utah weather is freezing currently. The lens I have is not my favorite for these situations, so I'd love to see what lenses would work for some low-light, indoor, more difficult lighting situations! :)

The Sony FE 28/F2 is my go to lens. Great price/performance ratio for this lens. 28 mm is my favorite focal length.

The 28mm has become my favourite focal length. Only got it for the Sony System not to long ago but I have the Ricoh GRIII which is a 28mm and I have a 28mm for my Minolta X700 film camera.

You make these focal lengths work with your style. For me, it generally starts at 50mm.....The Canon EF 35 F1.4 II being the exception. I’ve shot some great portraits with that lens

Hey Julia, what are your settings for focus mode and focus area. I do own the 28 mm along with a sony a7riii but i find the photos of my little boy be a little unclear. I increased the shutter speed over 500 and it still do not meet my expectations. Thank you

28mm. Remember that there are times when you can't get any further back, but very rarely times when you can't move toward the subject. Therefore, the 28 provides more versatility. And if you want the perspective of a 35mm lens simply stand back a couple of extra feet and crop into the image on the computer. A 28 can be a 35, but a 35 cannot be a 28.

One thing I like about Julia is that she’s calm and does a good job directing her model. Some female photographers I’ve watched are sometimes really cocky and loud and obnoxious.

I’d bought 28/2 and sold it after few weeks cuz it’s not sharp at wide open if you’re using A7R3 like me. And the lens hood is so vulnerable to scratches compare to 85/1.8....it’s the lens that I got and regret it pretty soon. For those who want to buy this lens.
