Sony Spider-Man Universe Changes Are Happening & Im Worried…. 

I don't know what's gonna happen with the Sony Universe but right now it's all over the place.

I hope Sony has a coherent vision for the Spider-verse because there’s so much potential.

As a general rule: always be concerned for Sony’s decision-making

Honestly, I am fine with them failing at it. If they can't create films that produce solid revenue, it becomes more likely they'll sell the IP to Marvel 🤷🏽‍♂️

As long as we keep getting MCU movies, I'll also be happy to have other marvel stuff too. The comics have 1000000 story lines, I want any and all I can get

There's a lot of potential here, but my hesitation is rooted on how much this reeks of cash grab movies removed from the MCU instead of movies WITH the MCU (which mandates a LOT of cooperation).

mcu has a great opportunity to work with Sony and establish Knull in the mcu while sony sets up madame webb and sinister 6 and eventually a giant cross over again

I feel like with Sony much like DC it's kind of hit or miss. So like for example you asked me if they're going the right direction with Venom they had the right idea. But with morbius they kind of just confused everybody. And therefore people didn't understand it hence mixed reviews. So at that point they really should hear out Kevin Feige when consulting him or if they're going to do this on their own pick up from where no way home was and branch off there that's what I would say

I really liked the Morbius movie! I kind of want there to be a separate Spider-Man in the Sony Universe. I'm pretty excited for Kraven the Hunter and I'm curious about the Madam Web movie. I didn't know about the Spider-Woman movie so I'm stoked about that.

I still think that even though they left a piece of the Venom in the MCU I feel like Tom hardy might play a different version of venom that doesn't know Tom Holland Spider-Man while the Symbiote would know who he is but Eddie Brock wouldn't because he's a variant of that Eddie if you get what I mean

I'll be honest, I actually liked Morbius. I think it was a well done movie for this character, but my only issues were that there was no proper ending and the dialogue in the credit scenes

I'm excited because I'll finally get to see my favorite characters on the big screen, but worried if they can do them justice, anyway we'll see

What I think about this is that I hope it does go well, for the Sony universe, Kraven the Hunter and Madame Web movies go great, and that I hope whatever Spider-Man they're getting, I hope it's Andrew Garfield. I don't agree we need a new Spider-Man. I think that Andrew Garfield will be the perfect choice. I just hope it'll go well.

Now that all the villains are fixed, I think it would be cool to make a movie where Tobey accidentally went to Andrew’s universe and vise versa and the villains that wanted to stay bad went after the spider mans (even tho it’s not their original spider man)

I think what would be a nice multiverse twist is the symbiote searches for MCU Spider-Man’s Eddie Brock who is a more successful version of Tom Hardy’s Eddie who is more of a douche than Sony’s Eddie Brock who is an underdog and Venom notices the nature of MCU Eddie is the wrong temperament to bond with and instead seeks out Spidey as he intended

Man... I have tried Morbius and just dropped it in first 15 minutes. At least Venom movies were good enough to be watched till the end.

I have a plan & outline for a Live Action Miles Morales set in Andrew Garfield’s universe that has Tombstone as the main villain and even introduces Silk as a character via cameo and her being one of Miles’s classmates.

I can only guess that Morbius was made with the plan that Sony and Marvel would separate after Spiderman: Far from home. Sony wanted the Spiderverse back and was gonna put Tom in Morbius. But Tom's last minute phone call to the Disney CEO changed all that and that threw Morbius into a total loop. But by then it was to late to save it. Even now, with the Conclusion of Spiderman: No Way Home, you can see it was written for Sony to exit the MCU if they wanted to. Sony is like the non-comital girlfriend that you just can't make plans with.

One thing I never understood in Morbius is the conversation between Vulture and Michael, when Vulture says "I think it has something to do with Spider-Man". So if Spidey was erased from the movie how is Morbius supposed to know what he's talking about?

Sony is keeping many marvel storylines from happening because they have all the characters of spiderman and he has alot of villains n side characters which pisses me off because we can't have a complete MCU without Spiderman's sub universe

I think she meant its going in a different direction from the rest of the MCU. I think the actors in these Sony films are told these are MCU films to hype them up. Tyrese from Morbius was sure it was set in the MCU and i guess in a sense it sadly kinda is lmao. I dont think shes saying Kraven will be different from the Sony films, i have no reason to believe that.

we sort of had it better with the rights everywhere, we were getting movies about characters from every corner of the marvel comics from different studios every year, now it's only between 2 studios and one is ok at doing it and one is so so at doing it, maybe because there's less competition , they aren't trying as hard.

I’m actually excited to see this. I love Marvel Comics, and I think we could see something special with this tie in. It’s still in the MCU, but in a different universe. With the “incursion” that was mentioned by Clea in Multiverse of Madness, we’re definitely getting a Secret Wars movie.😊👊🏾

Sony better hope Kraven the Hunter does well cause if it doesn't then SPUMK could fail sooner rather than later. The main problem I have with SPUMK is that most characters getting a film will be heroes at first but once Spiderman officially gets involved in SPUMK officially then the characters got films will turn evil or be an antihero just because they are villains to Spiderman in the comics so once Spiderman gets involved characters like Morbius, Venom and Kraven will be evil. I'd SPUMK fails I wouldn't be surprised if Marvel regains the full rights

my opinions on mcu spidey's 2nd trilogy: spider-man 4: -peter gets the symbiote suit setting a darker tone for psychologically disturbed peter following tragic no way home events -"black cat" gets introduced and drives peter to his edge -marc gagran as "scorpion" is the villain -peter gets help from "mr. fantastic" to figure out what the symbiote is -eventually peter fights with scorpion and redeems from symbiote suit, causing him to wear "bombastic bagman" suit at some time -gargan gets symbiote leading him to become "agent venom" in future mcu projects +in post credits scene we see "kingpin" being mad that some of his facilities were damaged during spider-man fight and through "prowler" now working for kingpin he looks to take down peter *asking my opinion it's the best time we get six-arm spider-man. because of his messed up mind he can go through spider transformation which meanwhile mr. fantastic tries to figure out a cure. _________________________________________ spider-man 5: -kingpin recruits "sinister six" team with prowler as a member (*though i don't think that's going to happen now after they transported "vulture" to sony's world) -peter gets introduced to "daredevil" and he helps him to fight against kingpin -we find out that prowler actually has a soft spot for peter and he has done all this for money. -around the end we have "norman osborn" starting his lab and peter is employed there, making friends with harry +in post credits scene we see prowler encouraging his nephew "mile morales" to only do good and it turns out he is a spidey fan _________________________________________ spider-man 6: -the last movie is technically a miles morales movie. we see him suit up looking like spidey and tries to bring justice to his crime-filled neighborhood without having any super powers, only self-made webshooters. he meets peter and peter tries to discourage him cause it's too dangerous for him but miles looks determined. -on the other side peter is working for norman osborn. osborn is on some evil plans and he thinks he wants spider-man powers. he intends to capture him. peter's identity as spidey gets revealed to his friend harry and norman finds that out through his son and gets him. -with the help of science stuff norman removes spidey powers from peter and injects it to his own blood. -now norman with spidey superpowers brings chaos to city and harry feeling guity for this, tries to help both peter and miles to capture his father. they manage to get spidey powers back but norman's body reactions turn him to a monster becoming "goblin". because of circumstances this time miles injects the superpowers and defeats norman. -with miles now proven worthy, peter retires without any superpowers carrying his normal life as peter parker. *this is the best ending for tom holland arc. i don't want to see him die. it's best he gives up his powers to miles. + in post credits scene we see miles being called up by madam web, warning him about a multiversal threat (which can be "knull") and asks him for help which leads to a "spider-verse" movie that sony is planning.

What would happen if Sony let Disney use Jessica Drew Spider Woman in the MCU just like Tom Holland's Spider-Man since her origin story is connected to the High-Evolutionary?

I really don't understand why Disney doesn't buy the rest of hulu & offer some to Sony.....they could have a huge mega deal where Sony helps produce projects 4 disney plus & hulu.....u could keep all pg13 & up on disney plus & put the rated R on hulu , this way u get some really cool rated R shows & movies , but kevin & marvel would have to have final say over everything, also they could collaborate on some awsome animated marvel & spiderman stuff , like dc did with justice league dark......if it keeps going like this Sony is gonna screw up , what could be a huge opportunity

There's no need to reboot as there's not much to reboot. There's the 2 venom movies and Morbius as of now. It's not too late for them to rearrange their release schedule by adding or dropping movies

Probably after the events of 2019 and nwh Sony is trying to suck up all the money by making a whole universe of spider-man itself. Leaving marvel and Disney with nothing. I don't trust them at the moment....Its for the best to keep it normal and add in new characters during the journey then make a whole 10 films surrounding him. This is just too convoluted. Having two parallel Spider-Men in mainstream movies is just such a dumb idea, even with the multiverse. You should only have one to deal with at a time.

I think they need a complete reboot. Tobey Maguire in No Way Home was fine as a kind of homage to the original, but an entire movie with him back as Spider-Man...NO. No way no how. Spider-Man 3 ruined my ability to accept him. Having the symbiant was supposed to make him over confident and aggressive. It did, but it also made him sleazy and smarmy to the point it made me ill. I just can't unsee that and move on. It needs a total restart with a new actor.

Another thing that Sony should have probably address as well when the older Spider-Man enemies left the main universe basically changed what did happen to them? I still have that question on my mind because what if suggests that you take someone out their universe no matter where and then put them back there is exactly right where they were as we saw with Captain carter she was taken out of her universe to go with the guardians of the multiverse and she was fighting Battroc and immediately when she came back she got kicked to the face by him. Now granted that was her universe it could be different for the main universe where if you change something in the main universe it's a different thing you get in another universe. Both Sony and Marvel could address this somehow because if it's tied to the timeline and how time works then what that is simply means is that essentially when they left a new universe branched out where they were cured and they go back home safely as opposed to just going back home and dying anyway. That's like one of the biggest questions I still have

I think if they get their act together and do a good job with Kraven and Madame Web, they could pull this universe off. Madame Web has the potential to be awesome. I got concerned with the El Muerto idea. To tell you the truth, when I read it I thought it was a joke. But nope, they're actually doing it. I think they need to hire someone to make a consistent plan for the Sony-verse.

Sony really needs to just focus on the spiderverse movie. Even if Morbius was not the worst that post credit scene told all that needed to be told. Sony will go to any lengths to have a live action spiderverse. Desperation doesn't make for good movies.

I am worried but also I feel like seeing how most people reacted to Morbius hopefully Sony realized they messed up an that’s why there changing. Hopefully this is the case.

I think a couple good movies that knows what to set up in the next phase could fix the sony universe. I think they should make a TASM 3 and Raimi 4 and it would good to set up a multiversal movie If they want to go into that route But For me I personally feel like its going to be messy for they, They can't make a connection movies and how can they pull of a multiple varations of universes? I hope they consult kevin feigie about this and ask for help in that way they can all be informed and knows what the plans for the team up films

Sony should go ahead and establish that the Sony universe is a universe in the multiverse give it a number and choose between Tobey or Andrew for your Spider-Man in that universe (they can always introduce Miles Morales as the new Spider-Man) and go from there. You can tell whatever stories you wanna tell. I don’t know why Sony is making that so hard
