In this video we 3D print new speaker terminals, filter capacitor holders and RCA panels. The versatility of the Snapmaker Artisan is always appreciated!
A worthy investment but invest in something reliable and reputable to avoid endless frustration with cheap garbage printers 🙂 having one that does laser cutting also is handy!
For good signal transfer, speaker terminals without too much mass are a good way to go, not so much metal between the conductor ends, so your solution is a good one. Make sure there are no ferrous parts though. Great fab work.
Man thats amazing work,I totally get where your coming from as I restored the speaker binding posts on my Harmon Kardom PM655 intergrated amplifier unfortunately I don't have a 3D printer, and had to make my plate out of aluminium.
Cannot speak for all filaments but ONYX is a chopped micro carbon and nylon mix which does not show any form of conductivity in my testing. There is also an ONYX ESD filament for manufacturing jigs 🙂
