I bought the Encore for my wife this past Christmas. It was on clearance at Walmart for $120 NIB. Cant believe I got this lucky. They had 6 and I grabbed one for her. She loves this speaker, it sounds clean and the bass is incredible. It also came with a couple of Mics for karaoke which she is thrilled with as well. Keep up the great reviews!!!
I purchased the F7 when it just came out because it looked very promising. Although the sound is not bad at all it just lacks that low frequency sound.
i bought an ult field 7 its great, really loud! good seperation in sounds good bass i cant complain at all the ult 2 mode is impressive if the rooms dark the light shows okay i like the sound quality alot clear and open i think this video doesnt do the field 7 justice big upgrade from sony and i love jbl products had the partybox 110 but had to sell it cause i was moving and had to fly and did not have room for it. So i got this the field 7 cause its new and similar size and sound volune to the 110 also great sound quality
1800 vs 4843 SEK (actually 1799 but for clearity), AAC only and less weather sealing + weaker construction + mic + battery life 37,14% the price of the Ult 7. Should I have/keep the Encore? Wish it was Bluetooth 5.2+ for Bluetooth LE. And better weather seals / easier to transport / sturdier I suppose. Don't know if the microphone could somehow be linked to some other device too.
I think the Field 7 is an improvement over the previous XG500. However, the Field 7 does sound a little strange in the mids on some songs and it does lose a lot of bass at upper to max volume. $500 is a lot of money for a speaker like this and the W-King is a similar speaker for less than half the price.
I'm a Sony fanboy, but I must admit JBL makes better speakers. Sony speakers have much better design tho. If only the ULT 7 have a retail price of $200 then I would definitely buy it.

@@JaysStraightUpReviews yes , I'm a big fan of jbl party boxes and i love bb3 but ulf field 7 sounds better than bb3 and i think it's a better choice than encore in terms of battery life, water resistances and portability
They exactly know what it is, they also know they can't compete with JBL in this regard so they went with different sound signature to aim at a different market.
Why because he tells it like it is? One can't state an opinion without being called biased. I own both the F7 and the bb3, and the F7 just can't keep up. Sure it sounds slightly louder on some tracks but it loses all it's sound at 100%, it just sounds muffled compared to the bb3 that still holds some if it's bass at 100%
@@JaysStraightUpReviews owned that both. My ult field 7 brought yesterday and compare it to my jbl bb3 and Bb3 is dead for sound quality and clarity. Sony win for now.
