Great question but it does not have a power switch. It only uses the battery when you press one of the control buttons. Mine has been that way for over a year and the battery is still good. Thanks and hope you can Subscribe. :)
@Jack Hunnicutt Thank you so much! I just got it yesterday and was worried it would be burnt out within a week of not turning off haha. I will subscribe! :)
I notice that you didn't demonstrate opening the battery cover on the Remote Commander. You started with the cover already removed. Like almost everyone else who has posted a video on setting this thing up. But you did demonstrate opening the batter cover for the camera. Removing the battery cover for the Commander seems to be the most difficult part of the setup, so video producers just skip it.
John, yes you are correct. I should have demonstrated how to insert the battery. It is a two step process; the lock is labeled #1 which slides to the left and the battery cover is labeled #2 which slides down. Appreciate your comment and hope you can Subscribe. :)
Thank you very much for your video. I used to set up my camera today with the vlogging stand question after I attach my camera to the vlogging stand and I tighten down the quarter thread I noticed there was a little play in the head even when I press the button and turned the direction from back to front in front of back and locked it, there’s still a little bit of playing in the head, side to side, is that normal? Thank you for helping.
THANKS JACK!!!! You Da Man! It was the remote on / off that was keeping me from pairing. Not only are you a smart man but might I say a handsome fella to boot!
Yes it does, just pair the first time and it is always connected. I really do like this device. Thank you for watching and hope you had a chance to Subscribe :)
