all other companies add half baked ANC , wireless charging which I am sure no one will use at this price point and skip the most important part- the sound quality. Sony on the other hand emphasised on the sound quality. These buds sounds better than many of the more expensive buds. So if you don't care about gimmicks and want a good sounding buds just go for them

I use ANC a lot, but I dgaf about wireless charging. I mostly care about how hard they thump.

@@not-a-raccoon get a BOAT or a Skullcandy. Audiophile grade headphones don't give you thumps, except when you pump up the bass using EQ.

Thank you for great information in the video. I got this products a few days ago and wondered if I bought the right one for me. Now I feel i was right. It’s surely not the best sound quality but I wouldn’t expect it. No noise cancelation which I expected in my occasion for use. It was the best option of the budget

I waited like 5 God damn years for a basic, no frills, no compromise, pair of earbuds that don't break the bank and still have sound that's good enough for someone in the music industry like me. I spend 2h + on the phone doing PR every single day now, and I want to stop gluing the phone to my head before my brain is completely fried ... :I I do have buds but they're not reliable enough for business calls IMHO. I also personally love that the controls for the volume and track selection/pause/switch to call are split between the earbuds. I'm used to controlling soundboards and the fact you don't have to precisely press something on most earbuds is what bugs me because I active stuff without wanting to - so this can be a plus for people like me! Seems like I found the ones...!

Good review as you included video watching and gaming.........loads of youtube reviews dont cover this and for me this is essential. Gaming, watching videos are all i do. Music listening is very rare for me

I'm not understanding why quite a few people are saying that these earbuds are not the best in sound quality. In my personal opinion the sound is AMAZING!!! I am blown away!! And I agree with you that they are one of the best sounding tws earbuds , even compared to the liberty pro's. ( I have the liberty pro 2's). I've listened to quite a few earbud and let me tell you, I am so happy with the Sony's that I ordered another pair as a backup. ( I believe Sony makes some of the best sounding earbuds and headphones one can buy). I truly believe those who think they're not that great in sound may not be using the right ear tips to get a good seal or not using the app you can download to enhance the sound. As for me my search for the best sounding earbuds is over. (I'm sure there's some out there that are better but I am perfectly satisfied with the WF-C500. The price has gone down since their release. You can get them for a very good price. I got mine for $29.99!! 😀

Is jbl endurance race tws worth buying ? I am looking for rugged TWS with good battery life and good sound quality (with accurate mid and low range ) . Sony has good sound quality , but I am from India and while running you sweat a lot due to which I am lookin for IP64 rating .

Enable Developer Options on android , then connect the earphones and go to developer settings there u will find Bluetooth audio codec option , change that to AAC ... Please tell me if this fixes the problem .

Buy Samsung galaxy buds 2 instead. No hissing there.Even Jabra elite 3 has hissing.

Trying to decide between these and the beats fit pro as my everyday earbuds. Beats fit pro are the best for workouts hands down. But for just everyday carrying around town earbuds which in your opinion are better?

The Beats Fit Pro are better earbuds. In busy places the ANC or the transparency mode can come in handy. The C500 doesn’t have these features

Get the Soundcore Life Dot 2 instead, even though it's a 2 year old product. That 100hr battery life is hard to pass by and it's way cheaper but sounds better than the C500 IMO. I have both the C500 and Life Dot 2 but I don't know about the Liberty Air 2. Still i returned both and decided to stick to my 3 year old Beoplay E8 2.0 for the wide ass sound stage and instrument seperation.

Sony really cut this model down. I feel like they should have at least added one more feature between ANC, transparency, wireless charging, in ear detection, or the option of a higher quality codec but at least it has access to their app with eq support. Your reviews never disappoint, though. Thanks for another great one! 👍

They could have added a lot of things that they didn't add, which for people who don't want the extra features such as ANC or transparency mode, is a great thing IMHO. You have so much choice for earbuds that does feature those things, so what are you complaining about? Those are perfectly balanced, as all things should be :)

I do enjoy these earbuds but I started having a problem with them. When I put the earbuds back in the case it doesn't disconnect from bluetooth like some of my other buds. I have to turn them off by the app or the buds themselves.

Do we know if Sony came up with a way to disable the controls? They are so easy to accidentally press when adjusting them in the ear, is beyond annoying.
