Don't upgrade Android 12 and above. I think this reason only affect the fingerprint. This Phone is made to work with Android 10 to 12. 13 is upgradable but my suggestion to limit the Android version the phone will work fine with out any performance issues.

Myself using Xperia 1 mark 1 with Android 11 work fine without issue nearly complete 1 and half years
