There is now the Sony Xperia 5 V! It's time to compare the newest high-end smartphone from Sony to the Sony Xperia 5 IV now that it has arrived. Is it a true upgrade or just a series of minor adjustments? The Xperia 5 IV received generally positive reviews during our review of it last year, so the new model has some pretty big shoes to fill.
However, it wasn't perfect, so there's still room for Sony to improve. To determine whether the existing Xperia 5 IV is a better investment-especially if you can find one at a discount-let's review everything both models have to offer.
Finally, Sony made a few minor improvements to the Xperia 5 V. It's a better phone, particularly in terms of the camera and processor. Even so, it will be difficult for you to distinguish the differences elsewhere. If you don't already own an Xperia 5 IV, you should upgrade to the more recent model because it has a significant camera upgrade and has significant performance improvements thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
